Once Upon A Time S5 EP 12 – ‘Souls Of The Departed’

ouat

Opens with Emma in her yellow VW with Neil, he’s happy and smiling. You almost think she’s dreaming until they start talking. Neil assures her that’s he’s happy and has no unfinished business, he’s in a better place.

They arrive in the Underworld, which looks exactly like Storybrooke (of course).

Cora appears and is told of Regina’s arrival in the Underworld.

Cora threatens Regina with sending her father into the flames if she and Henry don’t leave immediately.

Let’s NOT forget how King Henry got into Cora’s hands, way back in Season 1 when Regina requested the Mad Hatter to get her to Wonderland to retrieve a box?

Her father was in there. She fed him a resizing mushroom and in return left the Mad Hatter in his place. Hat rules… Number of people entering have to equal number of people leaving.

In the end, Regina prevailed and stood up to Cora, finding a way for her father to meet Henry before he walked towards the light.

Being changed, Regina wonders if others in the Underworld can be saved, but Gold wants no parts of it. Is he selfish? Or afraid of his father?

Hook is in distress, pain and alone. He has no real idea that Emma still loves him and is trying to rescue him.I’m personally hoping for a face to face soon.

Emma and Killian are the Modern Day Snow White and Prince Charming…

It’s very fitting considering those are her parents.
