The green ogre is coming back to the swamp. Looks like Shrek is being resurShrekted.
After a fantastic first movie DreamWorks followed up with a series of movies about this famous ogre.
With a cast of many brilliant actors from Eddy Murphy as Donkey, to John Lithgow as Lord Farquad with Cameron Diaz as Fiona and Michael Meyers as the eponymous Shrek. This movie series has brought many laughs to the world.
Now for a long time it seemed like Shrek was done. After a successful trilogy DreamWorks decided to go for one more run with Shrek Forever After.
Changing up the world of Shrek and throwing in Rumpelstiltskin seemed like a good idea. But the movie wasn’t all that good.
In 2015 they talked about making Shrek 5. The talks soon vanished from news sources. Presumably they were ironing plans out as now it seems the resurShrektion cometh.
I am excited for more news and that the whole team comes back for this new film. Here’s hoping this movie is amazing like the first one as that really outshines all the rest.
