Earlier this year, J K Rowling, through PotterMore, introduced us to many different wizarding schools all over the world!
Earlier this week however, a short story about how Ilvermorny, the North American Wizarding School, was founded found its way online, and it is such a beautiful story!

The story also featured not one, but two additional “gifts”, if you wanna call it that, for us fans.
The first is an introductory “trailer” to the short story.
Watching the trailer is such an awesome experience especially after reading the story. It is just amazing watching it while knowing who the characters are and what they’re doing in each wonderfully executed frame.
The second, and more interesting gift, is an Ilvermorny sorting ceremony. Yes, the American wizarding school has a sorting system similar to that of Hogwarts (by that I mean the four houses, and not the sorting hat). And thanks to PotterMore, we can all find out all about our Ilvermorny houses. I got sorted into Thunderbird 😀
