What do Game of Thrones, Ghostbusters and Aliens all have in common? Each one has a limited edition print available at San Diego Comic Con, and each one of these limited prints are done by none other than Patrick Ballesteros, that nostalgic and whimsical “product of the 80’s” who draws inspiration from his childhood. Patrick will be found at San Diego Comic Con in Artists Alley at Table DD-08.While his 12.5″ x 16″ Aliens print is not an SDCC exclusive, it is officially licensed. This print is part of Udon’s Alien Visions art book which will be released later this year. Patrick has done a limited run of 350 signed and numbered prints and has set aside only 50 of those for SDCC. Sneak peek!
His Ghostbusters print, “Crossing Streams“, also not exclusive to SDCC as it debuted at the Ghostbusters Art Show in Burbank earlier this month, will be available starting Wednesday July 20. This print features the Original Ghostbusters, in kid version, riding a mechanical Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, and there will only be 100 of them available.
And now the one you have been waiting for! The print EXCLUSIVE to San Diego Comic Con 2016 will be Patrick’s vision of that most famous of Game of Thrones scenes from season 6, the one that had everybody in tears, titled “Who’s Door“. This 9 x 12 will be a limited run of 75, and will debut one morning of the show. Being a GoT fan myself, I am dead certain this one will go really fast, so don’t miss out!
