Once Upon a Time SN6 E6 – Dark Waters

This week, we got the most fabulous thing we’ve seen in any OUAT episode ever … a WET Hook!  As you can see from the pic, it was pretty awesome…. man, Colin O’Donoghue is just beautiful.

Sorry.  I got a little off topic there.

In this episode, we got glimpses of what Hook was up to during “The Time of the Dark Curse”… He met Captain Nemo!  Well that, and had an adventure on board the Nautilus.  Oh yeah, he also met his younger brother, Liam 2.0 all grown up.  Remember, when Hook found his dad after he’d abandoned him and Liam 1.0?  Liam 1.0 had died, and Killian killed Papa Hook after finding out he had another son that he’d named Liam also.  Yeah, I know it’s confusing, but try to keep up.

So, anyway, Liam 2.0 grew up and became a member of Nemo’s crew.  Oh, and he’s carrying a reeeeealllly big grudge for the man who killed his father.  Yeah, I’m sure you see the problem here.  In present day Storybrooke, Liam 2.0 is now the captain of the Nautilus and is searching for Hook… he captures Killian and Henry who were at the docks together.  The Evil Queen was trying to drive a “pirate sized wedge” into the Charming family and showed Henry that Hook hadn’t disposed of the Shears of Destiny like Emma had asked.  So, Henry was at the docks trying to do what Killian had not; Hook shows up to try and explain things … and that’s when Liam 2.0 shows up and captures them both.

Long story short… Henry manages to save Killian and dispose of the shears proving that The Author is following in his mother’s footsteps and is just as big a hero as The Savior.

Emma has been having a nice long chat with Aladdin, and convinces him to listen to Jasmine and help Agrabah.  That’s how we find out that Agrabah is just gone.  It just disappeared while Jasmine was away from the city.

The Evil Queen gets a visit from Rumple and gets a reminder of the most important lesson he ever taught her… “Don’t take what’s mine,” he tells her ominously.  That’s when we learn that he was planning on getting the shears from Hook and using them on Belle and the baby.

This season may have started out slow… but it’s really picking up speed now.  Keeping up with all the twists and turns is becoming a full time job!

Here’s a peek at next week …
