Season 2 Premiere Dates for The Magicians and The Expanse set by SyFy.

More good news coming from SyFy this week as the network finally releases the long awaited dates for the Season 2 premieres of The Magicians and The Expanse.

Both shows are based on best-selling novel series and SyFy has spared no expense in show production for either of the two.

The Magicians

The Magicians tells the story of Quentin Coldwater (played by Jason Ralph) and his group of friends who’ve been recruited to a super secret magic academy. While there, they discover that magic is very real and they must quickly learn to harness its powers to fight the evil forces they’ve also discovered.

SyFy has scheduled the show’s Season 2 premiere date for Wednesday, January 25 at 9/8c.

If you’d like to get caught up or watch from the beginning, the Season 1 marathon will be airing this Saturday, November 12 from 9:30 AM – 11:00 PM.

The Expanse

The Expanse is an ambitious space epic with enough intrigue and plot to rival Game of Thrones in its storytelling.

The setting is 200 years in the future where man has colonized the galaxy. Main characters Joe Miller (Thomas Jane) and James Holden (Steven Strait) find themselves increasingly involved in a conspiracy that threatens to throw the whole galaxy into interplanetary war.

SyFy has set the double episode premiere date for Wednesday, February 8 at 10/9c.
