Green Lantern Might Show Up In The Justice League Movie

Justice League next year will mark the first time the Earth’s Greatest Heroes have assembled on a silver screen together. The film will be a continuation of the story from Batman V Superman where the film ended with the death of Superman. Batman and Wonder Woman will be joined by The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman. Superman will also make a return from the dead.

Now it looks like another Justice League founder will appear in the film. A recent article by The Wrap says “a member of the Green Lantern Corps. will be seen in Justice League in a key sequence.”

So far Warner Bros. have denied any involvement of Green Lantern in the next year’s epic. On Dawn Of The Justice League special, Geoff Johns claimed that the earliest we’d see a Green Lantern would be the third act of Justice League 2. Of course things change. It might be that the studio has realized that lot of fans have been calling for the inclusion of a Lantern in Justice League. Or it might be that it was a plan all along, or the rumor may simply be not true.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the fifth entry in the DC Extended Universe. It will land in theaters on November 17 2017.
