He landed his part on the TV show Growing Pains, which aired in 1985, playing the role of Jason Seaver, psychiatrist and father. The show was long running lasting until 1992, and also had its own movie that debuted in 2000 called Growing Pains the movie, followed by the sequel Growing Pains: Return of the Seavers in 2004.This man has done so much from movies to hosting pageants, celebrity cooking shows and more. Sad to see a legends and icon once again be taken from us, and at such an early age is truly heart breaking.
