- The Country duo LoCash have earned their first No.1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “I Know Somebody“
- Christian metal core band Fit for a King comes in at No.2 on the Top Christian Albums chart with “Deathgrip“
- Eminem’s “Campaign Speech” has rocketed to the top of the real-time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart after its surprise premiere on YouTube.
- The Pet Shop Boys‘ “Say It to Me” hits the Dance Club Songs chart as the Hot Shot Debut.
- Pio-Taro debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 77 with his 45-second-long novelty hit “PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)“the shortest song ever to hit the chart.
- Twenty One Pilots remain the to musical act in the U.S., holding atop the Billboard Artist 100 chart for a third total week
- Miguel Bosé’s “MTV Unplugged debuts” at No.7 on the Top Latin Album chart, bringing the MTV brand back to the chart for the 14th time
- Kings of Leon earn their first No.1 on the Billboard 200 Album charts with “Walls”.
