Gotham S3 E9 Mad City: The Executioner

Barnes has officially lost it and pushed out a man, albeit a twisted man through a wall. Gordon is sure that Barnes did it because he was actually able to talk to the man who was pushed through the wall. Bullock doesn’t believe this could happen because he respects Barnes to deeply. I mean it makes sense he really has been so great as a captain.

Barnes is out and everyone just thinks he is tired but he is actually in an old boathouse with three men in nooses.Barnes is judge, jury, and executioner for these criminals as kicks the stools away. He truly has lost it, hasn’t he?

Ivy is at a sleazy rich man’s house, and the man wants something from her. Using her plant power she gets into his vault and then promptly knocks him out. He wakes up suddenly and slams her against a pole but she kicks him and runs.

Ed and Penguin are having breakfast and Ed is distraught because his girlfriend hasn’t called. Penguin the sneaky bastard just had her killed and he is quite proud of himself. I really hate that he did this, it is just too much. Of course seeing Isabella dressed as Kristen Kringle dead is a shock to Ed’s system. Penguin is able to hug him but it clearly is only meaningful to him.

Ivy finally tells who she is to Selina who is of course shocked. Gordon decides to do a little detective work on Barnes as he comes into his office. Barnes has crafted quite the lie to hide his crime and Gordon is clearly on edge about it. The two have a discussion in the car and Barnes is disappointed that Jim didn’t do his job fully. Barnes lies about his time with the doctor from the previous episode. He begins to show his new self and how disgusting he really thinks the city is. I have to say this mad Barnes is far more interesting than the straight laced one.

Cat has asked Bruce to come over to see the brand new Ivy. Ivy tells Cat about her new lifestyle and how she is in trouble. Bruce attempts to compliment her but the ladies both look at him in disgust. Suddenly someone is there and not for a conversation.

Gordon and Barnes go into the warehouse to take in the criminal Barnes was placing the blame for his crime on. He suddenly changes and shoots him before aiming his gun at Gordon. Have to wonder what is going to happen next and how Gordon will react.

Bruce swiftly buys Ivy’s prize and has her agree to returning it. I really thought that this was a great scene showing off that even though Ivy looked older she was still young.

Penguin is having a picture of himself painted but he is troubled by Ed’s sadness over Isabella. Ed knows he has to move on and goes off to where she died, I hope he finds out Penguin did it. Really such a terrible and cowardly move on Penguin’s part.

Gordon and Barnes are both on opposite sides of what Justice is. Infected with Alice Tetch’s blood has really unlocked what Barnes calls his true self. Barnes wants Gordon to join him in his pursuit of justice and Gordon declines.

Ed stands on the train tracks and places flowers on them after poignant and tender words for Isabella. He talks to a homeless man and finds out that Isabella screamed before the accident.

Bruce, Cat and Ivy go to return the necklace but find the man is dead. Ivy finds out Bruce and Cat are an item. Of course Cat denies it and Bruce says its true. Ah young love, how odd can you be?

The GCPD is looking for Gordon who is running away from a murderous Barnes. Bullocks enlists Lee as a medical examiner in aiding Jim. Barnes chases Gordon into another abandoned building and aims his gun at him once more.

Ed goes to find what happened to Isabella’s car and finds the brake lines were cut and he was the first to figure it out. Cue up Penguin’s theme as he heads off to tell his good buddy what happened.

Barnes is going to kill Gordon and soon the Bullock arrives with the cops. An all out brawl ensues between the two but luckily Gordon finds a gun. Barnes wants Gordon to stand down but Gordon won’t do it. Luckily Gordon shoots Barnes and incapacitates him.

Bruce and the ladies head back to his mansion and Bruce is upset with Cat. The men who tried to hunt Ivy find some hints about who she was with. Lee and Gordon talk about what happened and Gordon thanks her for her help.

Ed heads back to Penguin’s manor wanting to talk to him. Penguin unveils his painting and has included Ed in it. Ed tells him that someone murdered her by cutting the lines. His first thought is that Butch was the one who did it which lets Penguin catch his breath.

Gordon and Bullock stand before Barnes’ former office. Gordon looks in as if knowing he will sit there one day. I hope that Gordon does become commissioner but I think he can wait a little longer, he doesn’t have his mustache yet! In Arkham Barnes is trapped screaming Guilty. I have to say I am unsure if he will stay  there but for now I really enjoyed his arc. At first he bothered me but this season he became one of the best characters.

The next episode of Gotham looks even more insane as many different arcs hit high points. The episode called Time Bomb certainly looks explosive!

 

 

 

Final trailer before Sun and Moon! Z Moves for the starters Final Forms, Ultra beasts, and Alolan Forms!

The wait is almost over, Pokemon Sun and Moon is out on Friday for the world excluding Europe which gets the game on the 23rd. It has been a long time coming since they first announced these games and the wait has certainly been excruciating. I have been excited for this game the moment I heard about them and even before after I had played a lot of Pokemon Y and Omega Ruby.

This final trailer did not disappoint and I was super happy that it just kind of appeared before me, like a wild Pokemon. It really showed off a few  cool scenes and showed a few things that many of us fans have not seen.

The Z Moves for the final evolutions of our starters look superb. Decidueye the final form of Rowlett gets the Z Move Sinister Arrow Raid. Summoning a swarm of arrows that explode around the foe.

Incineroar gets Malicious Moonsault which turns the battle field into a wrestling ring. I know that this Pokemon is a wrestler and honestly it looks like a cool move.

Last but certainly not least Primarina gets Oceanic Operetta.This move looks quite beautiful in its execution but clearly can devastate an opponent dropping such a massive ball of water on it.

They also revealed two more of the Ultra Beasts, UB-03 Lightning and UB-05 Gluttony. I am really curious how these Ultra Beasts play into the story. I honestly have stayed away from story spoilers but to me, Lightning looks similar to Guzma and Gluttony reminds me of Hala. Though we will have to wait and see.

They also showed off Diglett and Dugtrio’s Alolan Form which both become Ground/Steel. I really have no idea how adding blond hair can add steel typing to a Pokemon. Honestly these two are pretty underwhelming though I’m sure they have their fans.

Lastly we saw that we will be gifted a Magearna, a pretty cool Mythical Pokemon.

There was also a reminder to transfer over Ash-Greninja and to accept the super special Munchlax which when it evolves will have access to Snorlax’s Pulverizing Pancake.

With so little time until the games release so many are on edge. It makes sense since the leaks of the game have really shown everything these games have to offer. While so many people wait and stay away from anything Pokemon related there are many who are already playing the games which I find unfair. Well, at least the world will soon have their copies and we can all find out for ourselves how awesome Alola appears to be!

Regular Show: In Space S8 E22 ‘The Key to the Universe’

The legendary trainer Earl just wants to train Pops to save the universe. The group isn’t sure Pops is actually the hero but still are curious what he would teach him. Earl tells them the story of Pops and Anti Pops’ fight and how their fight resets the universe. Pops doesn’t want to fight but if he is trained by Earl he could defeat Anti Pops for good.

Mordecai and Rigby watch Pops train but are unimpressed by Earl’s methods. It is similar to the idea of watching Master Miyagi teach wax on wax off. Clearly in the end Pops will learn something even though this man’s teachings are so unorthodox. Humorously the wax on wax off lesson is also in this episode.

Pops is being worked to the bone but his lessons are not doing much for Pops. Pops finally goes off on Earl because he doesn’t want any of this. Earl shows Pops what happened the last time he and his foe fought. If only Pops had more training then, maybe he could have defeated this monster. Of course seeing this destruction makes Pops cry and run away. Pops runs through the park to his safe place with his friends in tow.

Pops just wants to a regular oddly shaped headed man, but his friends know he can do this. Earl shows Pops that his training wasn’t for nothing and then tells him his training can really begin now.

Regular Show’s final season is really heating up. Can’t wait to see Pops take down Anti Pops in the coming episodes. This show is certainly going to end in a way I would have never guessed. The next episode airs next week and is called ‘No Train No Gain.’

 

Nintendo Eshop 11/10/16: From Rhythm games to Shooters, the Eshop has it all this month

The Nintendo Eshop is always updating weekly and showing so many great games for all different sorts of people. You never know what is going to come out on the Eshop and that is a marvelous thing.

This week we see so many fantastic games are coming out for Nintendo systems. The newest Harvest Moon Skytree Village is out this week. It looks like a charming farming adventure like many of its predecessors. It is definitely worth playing at least one of these games as they really can be just too much fun.

The Virtual Console also gets updates on both the 3DS and Wii U. For 3DS we get Megaman X3 another classic adventure in the Megaman series where you can choose to as Megaman or Zero. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles another zombie filled game where you could finally take down the Umbrella Corps is also out this week. If that brand of gaming is too scary Rhythm Heaven Fever is also out on Wii U, a charming game with 50 Rhythm games to play again and again.

Also included in the update are more deals for My Nintendo members which you really should sign up for if you haven’t. Plus it is the First anniversary of the Nintendo Badge arcade and free plays are being offered during this week. Go and collect some badges, you never know what badges they have in store.

With a new Animal Crossing Theme for Fall get another reason to love this season!

Bravely Default’s Fourth Anniversary gifts us with a different type of game

Awhile ago Square Enix posted that they were celebrating the fourth anniversary of the Bravely Default series. I was stoked because of course seeing Bravely Third would be just really great. This series has really grown on me and I can’t wait to play more of it, on the 3DS at least.

Today they announced that a new game would be coming out at least in Japan. The fans clearly were excited by this news, but reading more about it, the words Open Beta change the whole dynamic of it all.

Now it does look like the game will look like it’s predecessors at least. It will also thankfully still be a Fantasy RPG. So at least it has that going for it.

There isn’t much to go on when it comes to this game but of course I will keep tabs on the subject. Curious what this game could be if it isn’t on a 3DS. This could be a very different game and it could honestly be worth playing. I wonder if they are working on the third game in the series as well. Could this play into the next game?

You’re the Worst S3 E11 ‘The Inherent,Unsullied Qualitative Value of Anything’

Gretchen wakes up feeling different especially since Jimmy told her he doesn’t know if his life is his. She suddenly sees Jimmy looking through his stuff assessing whether it is worth keeping in his life or not. Surely, he’s not going to toss Gretchen by the wayside. She knows she is going to be judged and lets Jimmy write a pro and con list about her. Humorously we find out that she thinks all of the ink we get is from squids.

It’s the day of Shitstain, a client of Gretchen’s wedding. Really that name is so juvenile it is moderately humorous. Lindsay is going to divorce Paul and is happy she made him sign a prenup, unaware that she won’t get any of Paul’s money.  She is also upset because without a baby she also loses another in for his money.

Gretchen wants to see Jimmy’s list  but of course she won’t get to see it. Edgar needs to create five sketch ideas for his new boss and Dorothy is upset he is doing it at the wedding. Lindsay attempts to find a job and hits it off with a Fashionista. Gretchen works to fix the quarrel between Shitstain and his friends so the wedding will go off without a hitch.

Dorothy is upset that Edgar is doing so much work and that she isn’t going anywhere. Edgar goes off to talk shop with another comedian at the wedding. Gretchen tries to take Jimmy’s notebook and finds that he switched notebooks. Gretchen takes some power back and writes a list about Jimmy as well.

Shitstain’s wife tells his group leader Sam that they are going to have a baby in a year and he makes things worse by kissing her. For such a macho and independent man Sam shows off some true character.

Edgar is bouncing off ideas for his pot comedy with Brian Posehn.Dorothy breaks up the work and is quite a downer, Edgar doesn’t know what to do. Lindsay finally tells Paul that she had an abortion and is leaving him. Of course doing it in front of the woman you want a job from is not really a good idea. Lindsay really does try to make good decisions but she is so unaware of what her actions do to others.

Jimmy and Gretchen begin to read their lists to each other. Sam and his other band mate Zachary speak at their wedding and it turns out well enough. The 3 main couples all end up in bad terms and Gretchen and Jimmy drive off in separate cars. We see them both looking sad as they drive together yet separately to their house. Is this the end of the worst yet most amazing couple on the show?

This episode really was quite the explosive one. Many different truths came out or were really hinted at. I hope these characters are all able to work things out in the end. This show really is so good because it can be so real. Cannot wait to see how things come out in the next episode,’You knew it was a Snake’.

Clarence S2 E29’Clarence and Sumo’s Rexcellent Adventure’

Clarence and Sumo are hanging out on the bus making faces out the window. Sumo has to get his large tooth removed. He is upset because its kind of an odd looking tooth.

The kids are headed to a museum and only Clarence’s friends Jeff and Breen are excited. They see that the tour guide was once their substitute teacher. Clarence  sees a T Rex Skeleton and imagines him as a fourth grader. A nice little moment because clearly a fourth grader would think like that.

Clarence wants to touch it and breaks a tooth off of the exhibit. Clarence and Sumo run around and soon find Jeff. When he discovers what they did he freaks out and they need to figure out how to fix it.

An old side character from a single episode tattles on them and only Sumo is taken out for punishment. Clarence is troubled because he knew he also did wrong. He has a guilt sequence where his imagined T Rex friend talks to him.

Clarence struggles when he gets to school the next day. Even though its Percy’s birthday Clarence doesn’t feel good about it. He is sad until he goes to see Sumo and finds out he was just going to his appointment and had to stay home because of the medicine.

This show is always a nice change of pace, because it is based in the real world. Just a simple cartoon worth watching be you old or young.

We Bare Bears S2 E19 ‘Creature Mysteries’

A Park Ranger is at his desk when he hears the door jiggle. He cautiously walks to it and opens it not afraid at all of the bears. It appears Ranger Tabes of an older episode has called them in to help find an unknown creature. Clearly she is after Charlie, the bears Bigfoot friend.

She is going to give them flare guns to signal each other. Grizz leaves to help Charlie as Panda and Ice Bear keep Tabes busy. It would be a problem for Tabes to find Charlie and that he is a big foot. Grizz finds Tabes and saves him from a trap as the Tabes and his brothers drive to her trap.

Tabes is right behind Grizz and Charlie and they are still able to evade her. Ice Bear pushes Panda into a trap and Grizz and Charlie get away. Tabes has been looking for Charlie for years to prove herself to her mom and herself.

When she was younger she chased after Charlie and climbed up a cliff, falling off Charlie made sure she was okay. Of course her mother didn’t believe her. Grizz gets Charlie to their home but Charlie smells his favorite food cheese puffs and climbs on the roof setting off a trap. Ice bear runs off to get them to safety. Tabes is a crazy woman, it is always good seeing such a strong female character on TV.

As she passes out in the smoke cause by the flares Charlie saves her. When she wakes up Charlie is gone and she decides to forget about it. Charlie appears before her as a show of his existence and she drives off fulfilled.

Nice to see a story go full circle even in the briefness of an episode.

 

 

We Bare Bears S2 E18 ‘Everyone’s Tube’

Someone is watching a YouTube like site. It starts with a video of Panda lip syncing to a song sung by a female singer similar to Taylor Swift. Of course Grizz works hard to break into the video as he needs constant attention.

The second video is of Grizz teaching dance moves. Though clearly he doesn’t know how to dance so he really just looks foolish. He soon kicks his laptop because its too close.

The third video is of Ice Bear  and Chloe finding a random piano on the side walk. They begin to play the piano together and it is rather nice. Ice Bear tends to be the most mature of the three bears of course. Chloe begins to sing as Ice Bear plays.

Next up is a video of Grizz trying to play a song on his keyboard, but it is so bad they stop the video.

Fifth up is Panda singing a love song about a girl he saw at a boba shop. The song is a little terrible but it is humorous seeing a panda sing to a human. He is playing basketball and doesn’t call her so she calls him. Of course this ends their relationship before it really begins. Soon though he brings her a puppy and they are together happily.

Another terrible Grizz video is stopped instantly. But next Ice Bear is seen dancing and doing the cleaning of the house since his brothers are out. Truly dancing and cleaning is a way to make cleaning fun! Suddenly he is outside flying with two clones before sitting back on the couch.

The person, whoever it is subscribes to their channel and they celebrate, soon breaking something. A weird episode in a different style than most. I liked the Youtube style of it actually. Many of the videos were pretty bad but I still enjoyed it.

The Odd Couple S3 E4 -‘ Taffy Days ‘

Oscar is having his father’s wake was rather hard for Oscar. Oscar feels better that he did reconnect with him before his death. Oscar’s friends will miss him too and clearly Oscar will and of course he does too. He talks to his lawyer.

Oscar talks to his father’s lawyer who is played by Ron Howard. He has to go scatter his ashes behind his father’s first factory and do it in front of his father’s old business partner. Of course when he heads out, Felix follows and joins in on the road trip.

Oscar goes to Patti’s house but she doesn’t live there as it is her mother’s house. She writes down her address and he heads off to see her. He finds that Patti isn’t there from her sister Vivian who is played by Cindy Williams.

They head off to the bar that Pattie frequents and find she is not there from the bartender played by Mork and Mindy Actress Pam Dawber. At the bar they meet two more of his father’s friends played Anson Williams and Don Most.

They meet Patti who is played by Penny Marshall and find she is still running his dad’s first factory. Oscar and Felix have a fight and the ashes fall into a vat of watermelon taffy. He goes outside and pours out the ashes with Patti and Felix. He says a heartfelt speech and pours the taffy into the river. Patti tells them the fight that split them up was about naming taffy and she apologizes to him. Oscar thinks that him sending Oscar was his apology too.

Oscar and Felix soon flee the scene when they see lights in the distance as it looks like they are disposing of a body. They head home and find their friends passed out but and they wake up. It was quite the episode and a nice tribute to a great man Garry Marshall.
