Sherlock Season 4 Release Date Confirmed

On Wednesday night, the world tucked themselves under a nice warm blanket to watch the BBC’s last outing to the tent. Yes, it was the Great British Bake Off final, where lipstick loving Candice took the crown.

But that was NOT the most exciting thing that BBC 1 showed on Wednesday night! Nope. The Bake Off Final was followed by a trailer and release date for the next (and possibly final) series of Sherlock.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman will be kicking off 2017 in style on New Years Day. Will Sherlock finally defeat Moriarty? Will Watson and Mary live happily ever after? Will they share the secrets of Irene Adler’s fashion? Only one way to find out…

Scream Queens S2 EP3 – ‘Handidates’

This episode left us in shock and despair as a fan-favourite character was found dead. That’s if they are really dead? A girl can hope! 😉

The episode began with the Chanel’s finding wart-covered Tyler’s body, and of course Chanel Oberlin assumes the killer is Chanel No.5, even though she was with them the whole time. They are interrupted by Munsch, who helps them dump the body in the swamp because she doesn’t want the murders to ruin the reputation of the hospital.

Meanwhile, Randall the screamy, jumpy patient from last episode is next to fall victim to the ‘green meanie’.

Chad informs Munsch that Dr. Holt’s hand belonged to a serial killer, suggesting he must be the ‘green meanie’. Munsch not convinced, suggests Holt should have another hand transplant from someone less murdery anyway. This leads Chad to choose some new ‘handidates’ for Holt, which they discuss in yet another shower scene, but you don’t hear us complaining.

While curing a woman (Cheri Oteri) with very frequent orgasms, the relationship between Chanel No.3 and Cassidy gets steamy, even making out in the middle of surgery. As the two open up to each other, we learn why Cassidy is so cold, because he’s dead. Yep, you read that right! He died on his 18^th birthday as he chocked and suffocated on his on vomit, but somehow is still breathing. That is why he became a doctor, to work out how he is alive but also dead, maybe he’s a zombie.

A clue from Hester leads the Chanels, Munsch, Zayday and Denise Hemphill to the only survivor to the Hospital Halloween Massacre. Who believes the killer is the child of the patient whom was left for dead in the swamp the Halloween before the massacre. They deduct the killer must be 30, and is obviously 6ft or taller. This makes the main suspects; Chad Radwell, Chamberlin, Dr. Cassidy Cascade.

This rules Dr. Holt out, meaning he no longer needs a new hand, which is fortunate, as Chad planned to do the procedures awake.

After a heated exchange between Chad and Holt about Chanel, Chad proposes to her. With the wedding planned for the next day, and with no friends left alive, Chad asks Holt to be his best man. Dr. Holt seems very annoyed but they agree the marriage probably won’t last 6 months meaning then Chanel is all his.

As the cured patient (Cheri Oteri) is about to leave alongside Zayday and Chamberlin, the ‘green meanie’ chops off her head and stabs Chamberlin. However, they hesitate to kill Zayday and runaway. Why didn’t they try to kill her too? Does she know the killer?

On the wedding day, Chanel makes it down the aisle but Chad is nowhere to be seen. Then Chad falls through the ceiling, dead. This answers my question from last week, are they brave enough to kill off the much loved main cast this season. Fan-favourite Chad Radwell will surely be missed, his absence will surely be noticed, especially his interactions with Dr. Holt.

At the end, they have given into Hester’s demands as she moves into the hospital, in the hope she will reveal who the killer is.

Some things we still want to know; Why didn’t the ‘green meanie’ kill Zayday? How does Hester know who the ‘green meanie’ is? Will Holt be able to keep his killer hand under control? Where was Nurse Hoffel during this episode? Will Chanel No.3 and Cassidy’s relationship last? Will Dean Munsch survive the season? Who is the ‘green meanie’? And who killed Chad? The ‘green meanie’ or was Dr. Holt overcome with jealousy? Although, I’m not totally convinced he will stay dead, who knows maybe he managed to fake his death, we can only hope!

Angel Has Fallen: Gerard Butler Returns As Mike Banning

Angel has Fallen is not directly a reference to Gerard Butler (although it could have been), but it is the title of the third movie in that movie series.

Gerard Butler will reprise his role as Mike Banning, a secret service agent whose job it is to protect the president of the United States, played by Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight). In Olympus has Fallen (Olympus is a codename for the White House) and London has Fallen Mike Banning both times had a tough day at the job to say the least.

Since Angel is the codename for Air Force One (the presidential airplane) the third movie will most likely have something to do with said plane. The plot is still unknown for now, but the same writers (Creighton Rothenberger & Katrin Benedikt) who wrote the first two movies are writing the third. Which I find very promising because I liked them.

Shooting of the movie is planned for the first half of 2017. Which will lead to a release date of the movie somewhere in 2018. As time of shooting comes nearer they better hurry up finding a director, because no name has popped up so far. Besides an unknown director there is no news yet about who will star alongside Gerard Butler.

One thing I do know is that if the first two movies are an indication for the third movie, it will be action pact with explosions and lots of fight scenes as we can see in the trailer below for London has Fallen.

Is Pudsey A Magical Creature? Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them For Special Children In Need Minisode

The BBC have today announced that a special Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them minisode will form a part of their annual Children In Need telethon. The sketch will see Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables) as magizoologist Newt Scamander team up with Pudsey Bear. It will also feature a number of celebrity cameos; which celebrities will appear in the minisode however has yet to be confirmed.

Eddie Redmayne said of the Children In Need segment “I have such fond memories of Children in Need. Growing up, I loved watching all the special sketches and performances, and of course, Sir Terry Wogan’s inimitable presenting.  It is a charity very close to my heart so you can only imagine how chuffed I was to be asked to do a special sketch for this year. I can’t wait for you all to see what we have in store,”

Children In Need will air on Friday 18th November at 7:30pm on BBC1. Graham Norton will stand in for the late Sir Terry Wogan as the telethon’s main presenter. This year’s telethon will also include an Olympics-themed Strictly Come Dancing, starring Silver Taekwondo medallist Lutalo Muhammad, Gold Hockey medallist Hollie Webb, canoer Joe Clarke and rower Helen Glover.

Muppet Babies coming back to TV

I remember loving this show. Muppet Babies first aired in 1984 and lasted until about 1991, with a total of 8 seasons and 107 episodes! Now being a kid who just loved everything Muppets, from the Muppet show to Fraggle Rock, this was something I adored watching. And now it looks like they will be rebooting the beloved cartoon on Disney Channel. I totally support this being a child of Disney myself.

The show was originally about baby versions of the Muppets living together in a nursery and having all sorts of fun with their imaginations and each other. I remember I would watch the show then run to my room and try to have as much fun as they did pretending to be pirates or whatever they thought of that day of the show. (Ah to be little again..)

*Quick side note, did you know that the production companies in charge of the Muppet babies in the 80’s were both Jim Henson and Marvel productions? Just thought that little bit of knowledge was cool.*

It has come to light that the show will be brought to Disney Jr. in 2018 and CG animated for that matter. “We hope to engage and delight the nostalgic fans while also entertaining new kids, parents and diverse audiences through heart and humor as only the Muppets can deliver.” Says Debbie McClean, vice president of the Muppets Studio.

Well, hopefully this lasts longer than the Muppet Show reboot did. That unfortunately lasted for one season and was cancelled. It seems bad luck to try and redo what was already perfect the way it was. So far, most reboots I have seen don’t make it, keeping my fingers crossed for this one to last a little longer than the others. ^_^

What Now Kevin Hart, Santa?

Oh Yeah! For all of you “Kevin Hart” fans, he is on a roll! From Ride Along 2, Central Intelligence, and even a voice actor in The Secret Life of Pets, he is continuing to add more projects on to his calendar which may include him playing Santa Claus in a Disney Christmas Comedy called, Dashing Through The Snow! As if this super star doesn’t have enough on his plate with his own comedy concert, What Now currently playing in theaters and actively filming  Jumanji, “Kevin Hart” is currently in negotiation for the role of Santa.

The movie is said to be about a work-a-holic  New York City Detective/Father and his son trying to work through a strained relationship. The only thing that will help them is magic that can only come from the one true santa, possibly played by Hart.

“Orphan Black” Begins Production On Final Season

Yes, it is true “Orphan Black” is slated for 10 more episodes in its final season, which is already in production! What’s even more exciting is that a 20-minute sneak peak video of “Helena hunting in the forest” was shot and aired on facebook live for the Clone Club just a couple of days ago. In the video you will see them setting up props, the crew getting ready for the shot, and a few moments with Helena removing her catch and resetting her trap.  It’s always fun to see what goes on behind the scenes of your favorite TV show!

This exciting sci-fi series is expected to air it’s final season in 2017. The cast is to include: Jordan Gavaris, Kristian Bruun, and returning cast:  Maria Doyle Kennedy (Mrs. S); Kevin Hanchard (Art); Ari Millen (Ira); Josh Vokey (Scott); Skyler Wexler (Kira); James Frain (Ferdinand); Evelyne Brochu (Delphine); Calwyn Shurgold (Hell Wizard), and of course the emmy award winner Tatiana Maslany in each of her spectacular roles!

Doctor Who review: The Survivors; William Hartnell years

When we last left off, Barbara had just run into some creatures with a very distinctive antenna.

 

Ian, Barbara and The Doctor found the hidden door and are making their way inside. As they glance at the scenery, “Barbara, Barbara,” Ian calls, but no response. “There is a corridor over here,” Susan points out, glancing down a long metal hallway. Ian runs over, “Better see where it goes to.” “Wait Listen,” halts the Doctor. “But I don’t hear anything” observes Susan. “No wait listen,” repeats the Doctor. They silently hear some sort of clicking. They follow the noise to another door and go in. “Awe there we go,” states Ian, “we are bound to find some mercury here.” They search through the room. The doctor finds measuring equipment. They wonder what kind of intelligent creatures are using this equipment and what for. Susan finds a box that is measuring the outside atmosphere, and sees that the needle is past the danger point. “Yes, yes, this explains everything,” exclaims the doctor. “The creature turned to stone, the beran soil, petrified wood.,” “Radiation sickness?” Asks Ian, “Yes, yes, yes, we have been walking around in it, completely unprotected” announces the Doctor. “What?” Surprised Ian asks, “How do you explain the building, they are in tact.” “Neutron bomb. Yes, it destroys all human tissues but leave all the buildings and machinery in tact.” Announces the Doctor. “How much radiation? How badly?” asks Ian. “We need, we need drugs, the doctor points out.” “But where are we going to find them?” cries out Ian. “The TARDIS will have to take us to another time and place where we can find a cure,” states Susan. “Don’t you remember?” states Ian annoyed, “We can’t move the ship until we find the mercury for the fluid link.” “Yes for the fluid link,” the Doctor starts, “I may have cheated on that. I was determined to see the city, but everybody wanted to go on, well to avoid arguments, in short, there is nothing wrong with the fluid link,” Admits the Doctor as he hands the piece over to Ian. “What?” asks Susan, bewildered, “Grandfather you mean to tell us you risked leaving the ship just to see this place?” “You fool, you old fool!” Yells Ian, extremely upset with the Doctor. “Abuse me as much as you like the justice. The point is, we need an immediate return to the ship I suggest we leave at once.” States the doctor, getting weaker by the minute. “We are not leaving until we found Barbara.” Ian states very annoyed, “Very well,” continues the doctor, “you may stay and search for her if you wish, but Susan and I are going back to the ship. Now come along child.” “Alright, carry on fine, but just how far do you think you will get without this?” asks Ian as he hold up the piece of the TARDIS that the doctor had handed him earlier, “Give it to me.” Demands the Doctor. “Not until we found Barbara.” Says Ian. “Give it to me!” Yells the Doctor “No, its time you faced up to your responsibilities, you brought us here, now I am going to make sure you get us back,” States Ian. The Doctor starts to respond but Ian interrupts, “We are wasting time, we should be looking for Barbara.” “He is right grandfather,” Susan states “we are wasting time.” “Oh child,” the doctor exasperated continues “if only you would think like an adult, sometimes I think…” He is too weary to continue arguing. He reluctantly agrees to continue on. They then walk through the door and are met with a surprise that causes Susan to shriek out and cower into her grandfathers arms. The Doctor pulls her in protectively; he too looks a bit on the shocked side along with Ian. They are surrounded by big metal beings with plunger arms and a single antenna for an eye. Their bodies covered in smaller spheres that look like polka dots… If you don’t know what or who I am describing by now… The first encounter with the DALEKS!!!! And the first time we get to hear them speak! That wonderful robotic voice… though a little hard to understand…

“You will go in front of us and follow our directions” orders the first Dalek. “This way.” It continues as it turns around to lead them on. The Doctor and Susan start to follow along but Ian has other plans. He stalls for a moment, “Immediately!” orders the Dalek, but Ian decides to run. “STOP!” yells the Dalek, as he shoots Ian with a ray that causes him to fall to the ground. “My legs!, My legs!” exclaims Ian, unable to move them. Susan starts to run to his side but the Daleks wont allow this. The Other Dalek comes to Ian “Your legs are paralyzed, you will recover shortly unless you force us to use our weapons again, in that case, the condition will become permanent. You two help him.” The Dalek then points to The Doctor and Susan who rush to Ian’s aid. “My legs! MY LEGS!” Ian cries out again. “I can’t use my legs.”

 

We find Barbara in a cell now, alone with her head in her hands. “Stop here,” the Dalek voice calls out from behind a door. It opens as Barbara stands. The Doctor and the other two companions are ushered inside. They are all happy to see each other with big hugs all around. Barbara is concerned with Ian’s current states yet he assures her he is fine. They help Ian to a bench against the wall, “How are you Barbara?” Asks Ian, “We tried to look for you then those machines caught us.” “They caught me is some sort of lift. Seemed to go down for ages.” Barbara responded. “Did they hurt you?” Asked Ian concerned. “Ian what are they?” Barbara asks, not paying attention to the previous question. They both ponder the earlier happenings, trying to figure out where or what the robotic aliens are. “Do you think there are beings inside?” Asks Barbara. Susan giggles, which surprises Barbara. “We haven’t any idea what’s inside.” Ian states. Barbara continues, “I was trying to figure out a way to escape, but I feel so weak and giddy inside. I think they drugged me or something,” “It’s not that,” Ian confesses, “Barbara we have radiation sickness, all of us. The doctor is pretty badly hit” The camera pans to the doctor, who lies against the wall, looking worse than the rest. “Well how do you know its radiation?” Asks Barbara. “We found a guiding counter,” states Susan “It seems that all the time we have been in here, we have been exposed to it.” Ian confirms. “ Well what s going to happen to us?” Asks Barbara sounding more alarmed. “Unless we get treatment, we shall die.” Responds the very weak Doctor. The heroes now look at each other, worried for their lives.

 

The Dalek’s are watching the monitor that has our heroes on screen. “Bring in the old man prisoner. 200 days ago the radiation read 93” Starts the first Dalek ”It is now 58, an impressive reduction.” States the other Dalek. “It is still enough to destroy. Our prisoners are showing preliminary stages of sickness already.’ Informs the first Dalek “We know the plants are able to live on this earthment.” The Dalek’s continue on discussing the radiation on the planet for a bit longer (I was having a hard time understanding what they were saying here so I am cutting this short. Sorry guys)

 

The Daleks then turn as the door on the side opens and the Doctor is being herded through by a third Dalek. “Do not move out of the light, sit on the floor. You are the one of the Sow people. Why are you suffering form radiation?” Starts the first Dalek “Why? Because we were not aware of it until it was to late.” Responds the very weak Doctor. “No, that is not true… Your supply of drugs ran out, so you came into the city to see if you could find more.’ Insists the first Dalek “No no, no, what are you talking about?’ Asks the Doctor. “You and your companions need a drug to stay alive” responds the first Dalek. “We have no drugs…” the Doctor argues “Drugs , drugs, drugs stayed outside the TARDIS…’ the doctor quietly tells himself. ‘TARDIS, he is becoming delirious. I do not understand his words.” The Dalek continues. The Doctor stands up but is warned to stay in the light. He tries to bargain with the Daleks to come with him to the forest, where the TARDIS is, and find the ‘drugs’ that was there and bring it back to the metal heads. Unfortunately, the Daleks cannot move outside the city, but the Doctor then bargains that one of captors leave while the others stay imprisoned. ”Providing whoever leaves understands that the others will stay until the one return” Informs one of the Daleks “He will have our lives in his hands. That is enough” The Doctor responds, sounding proud of the human for a second. The Daleks agree to the plan. The Doctor then inquires about the races who inhabited the planet before. The Daleks tell the story of the Sows and the Daleks who inhabited the planet. There was a war, but it seems the Daleks were victorious. There were some survivors of the Sows but they were hideously mangled. “And knowing there are these creatures outside the city, you are willing to send one of us out there into the forest!?’ The Doctor exclaims. “All your lives depend on it” Responds the Dalek.

 

The ladies and Ian are walking around the cell, trying to help Ian regain his leg strength. This is not working to well. They have him rest against a wall. Barbara is not feeling well. Then the door opens and Doctor comes in. Susan rushes to him with a big hug. The doctor tells them of the plan hatched with the Daleks. Ian is ready to complete the mission but is warned of the creatures outside the city. The Doctor also informs them of the quick history. Susan realizes that the Doctor is burning up; Ian decides its time to get the mission moving. Susan insists on going with him, afraid that he may jam the lock on the TARDIS. She explains that the blue box has a defense mechanism that if he should put the key in the wrong lock the TARDIS will jam. A Dalek comes in insisting that Ian leaves now, but he is unable to walk. Barbara tries to stand but she is immediately dizzy… the plan now falls on young Susan, she is not as effected as the others, but she is terrified. Ian gives her a pep talk, she then stands and she reluctantly follows the Dalek out. Barbara is worried that they sent Susan out to a forest of mutants.

 

The Daleks are talking about the prisoner they have sent out to the forest. They are going to keep an eye on Susan in case she attempts to make contact with the Sows race.

 

Ian and Barbara are concerned. The Doctor is so weak now, and Susan is all alone in the forest. They don’t know what to do but are trying to figure something out.

 

Susan is running through the dark forest. There is a storm with lightning and thunder crashing around her as she hurries on her way. She is unaware that she is being followed. She runs and runs, and trips. She is frightened by the storm and her surroundings.

 

Back to the Doctor now, the heroes are getting more and more sick. Ian is now standing, and in shock that he can walk again. He slowly walks to the door. ‘Hurry Susan, hurry Susan.’

 

Susan is running again through the forest, afraid and crying. (The running sequence in these episodes are hilarious, it’s all close up of faces and camera panning from side to side. Love the 60s filmography!)

 

The Daleks are talking again, ‘The old man is dying.” The first Dalek confirms.

 

Susan has made it back to the TARDIS. She stumbles inside, happy she made it safely. She picks up the metal box that was found outside the TARDIS earlier. She hugs it to her, thinking of the Ian’s advise to return quickly. “I must, I must go.” She turns to the TARDIS doors and starts to leave.

Lucifer SN2-EP5 ‘Weaponizer’

Last week Lucifer and Decker investigate a serial killer. After the bodies of two young L.A. transplants are found poisoned, Maze convinces Chole to go out for drinks, in which she perceives as an act of friendship, but as we know, it was a bet between Maze and Lucifer.

This week we meet Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Amenadiel’s (D.B. Woodside) brother Uriel (Michael Imperioli) when he caused the accident that Chloe (Lauren German) was involved in. Lucifer suspects the accident was the work of his father’s intervention, Lucifer is equally pissed that Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) and Chole are still moving in together, Maze has brought some of her essentials (weapons and sex toys) to Chloe ‘s place before the move. Decker and Lucifer arrive at the crime scene and Lucifer identifies the victim as Wesley Cabot, the star of his favourite action movies, the Body Bags series.

Cabot was an eighth-degree black belt with a cocaine problem, but Ella (Aimee Garcia) confirms that Cabot was killed by an awards statue around 7 a.m, Ella still thinks Lucifer is a method actor and as he tries to convince her otherwise he sees his brother Uriel finds him on top of the building. Uriel visit to earth is not a social call, he tells Lucifer he has 24 hours to either bring their mother back to hell or he’ll finish what he started with Chloe.

Maze and Amenadiel try to convince Lucifer that Uriel will not stop until Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) has been returned, but Lucifer thinks he has an ace up his sleeve with Amenadiel, who is powerful enough to keep Uriel at bay. Detective “Douche” Dan (Kevin Alejandro) and Lucifer share something in common with Wesley Cabot and the Body Bag movies…. Could there be a new friendship starting between Douche and Lucifer? Dan finds out that the young kid who seen the car leaving the scene remembers the license plate, it belongs to Jamie, Wesley’s ex-wife. She hasn’t seen her ex-husband in weeks, when she received a messages from him she went to the house but found his body and left quickly. Jamie is married to Kimo how was also in Body Bags 4 with Wesley.

Amenadiel visits Charlotte at work to warn her that she may not know her children as well as she thinks, but Mamma Morningstar isn’t worried now she has her “brave boys” around her. Lucifer and Chloe are staking out Kimo when they spot him about to jump a random guy at the bar and pick him up. Kimo, now an enforcer for the mob is broke, and his prints are on the murder weapon so they arrest him. Amenadiel thinks they should hide Charlotte and Chole until Uriel leaves, but Lucifer reminds Amenidel that he is the first born and Uriel was terrified of him, Lucifer hopes the sight of Amenadiel will scare Uriel off. However, that plan may have worked if Amenadiel wasn’t losing his powers. Amenadiel meets Uriel on the roof and tries to intimidate him into going home. Uriel hits Amenadiel and quickly realises something isn’t right with big brother, Uriel then spreads his wings and attacks Amenadiel.

Dan finds out that Kimo and Wesley shared the same agent and it looks like the agent has set Kimo up for Wesley murder. But he quickly realises that both actors had received the same award and that’s why Kimo’s prints were on the award. Amenadiel beaten and bruised has no choice but to finally tell Lucifer that he is losing his powers. Maze pays Charlotte a visit and that they need to talk. Chole finds herself in the middle of Kimo pointing a gun at his wife and agent, but Chloe is able to talk him down without any incident. Charlotte tells Lucifer she is going back to hell, it will make everything better if she doses, but Lucifer won’t have it.

Lucifer heads to a church to pray when Uriel shows up, he has Azrael’s blade and Lucifer realises that Uriel wants to wipe Charlotte out completely. Lucifer and Maze tag team Uriel , but get out classed and beaten up but when Uriel least expected it Lucifer plunged Azrael’s blade into Uriel and ends him. Lucifer has killed his brother and is mortified at what he has just done, he get home and Charlotte sees Lucifer is in a bad way and asks where Uriel is. “what have I done” Lucifer tearfully asks as Charlotte rushed over to hold and comfort her son.
