Regular Show: In Space S8 E3 Welcome to Space

https://i2.wp.com/www.watchcartoononline.com/thumbs/Regular-Show-Season-8-Episode-3--Welcome-to-Space.jpg

The dome finishes blasting through lightspeed and are introduced to their new space friends. They arrive at the home base a space tree. All of the domes are being brought here to be kept safe. This show is really something to behold.

The gang is told they are here to bring parks to space. They will be trained and then travel through space to set up parks. Classified images pop up and the chief blocks the screen, clearly something is fishy.

Benson doesn’t want to take part in this experience at all. He is upset that he was lied to too and just wants to go home. He runs off and runs into a door that he assumes leads to Earth. It is interesting that Benson is the one who is against those but honestly it make sense. He really only feels that he has it in him to manage a park.

As he lands he is beset upon by the press. He gets away from them and finds that his apartment has been taken by a group of young people. He then tries to  get a job but since he is a terrible being he is fired.

He soon ends up as a hobo and his only possession is the tape that Mordecai gave him. He watches it and it shows all the guys and Eileen saying nice things about how Benson should stay in space.

He runs out of a door and finds himself back on the space ship. Turns out he was just in a simulator. He is now fully ready to stay on the ship because he cares about all of these guys.

Such a deep episode for all that is worth. Benson needed a wake up call and I am glad he was able to get one so easily. Clearly this episode is foreshadowing that all of the guys are going to need to be together to face what is coming next.

You’re the Worst S3 EP4 ‘Men Get Strong’

https://i0.wp.com/apaixonadosporseries.com.br/wp-content/arquivos/2016/09/youre-the-worst-3x04-jimmy-grethen-destaque-580x250.jpg

After finding out his father died in the previous episode, this one begins with Gretchen looking sad at Jimmy’s back. Jimmy seems sad but suddenly he faces her with a grin. He was so drunk that he didn’t even remember. When she tells him he freezes unable to say a word.

He unfreezes and tells her he totally remembered. He is clearly happy and uncaring about his father’s death. It really is something to be sure to see someone not care about their father. The world is a terrible place and there are so many awful people.

Edgar is going to the VA to get help for his PTSD which is good because it really is affecting him. I really hope he is able to get this help and come out as a better person.

Lindsay is processing feeling which she doesn’t ever do. Lindsay really is growing but she is just inching along and it is rather funny to see her try and grow up.

Gretchen goes to talk  to his therapist about Jimmy’s fathers death. She tells her she needs to help him with it. Gretchen wants to wipe it out in a moment but the therapist says to let him deal with it in his own time.

Gretchen wants to take him out on a sad day to see if they can make him cry.

Lindsay and Paul go to take a parenting class. Jimmy’s ex Becca and her husband are there and Becca’s husband just wants to drink.

Edgar takes Gretchen and Jimmy to a graveyard in hopes of making him cry. Gretchen has a funeral fetish.

Lindsay is doing well in the parenting class which upsets Becca. Becca is her sister and she always expected Lindsay to never have or want kids. Such a realistic sister relationship to be honest.

Paul tells Lindsay that the baby will look like him which disconcerts her a little. Lindsay ends up talking to another dad to be and helps him buy baby gear. She then tries to kiss him because she is just that stupid. With Lindsay it is always one step forward and two steps back.

Gretchen takes Jimmy to a British Pub and pretends to be his dad. Yelling at him and he thinks he is feeling but its just gas. Clearly Jimmy isn’t really truly unfeeling, he just has a hard time showing his true emotion as many men do.

Jimmy comes home to find Edgar has bought all his British snacks and he runs off. Jimmy goes to his room and finds a jacket his dad owned. Smelling it and going through old things he looks like he is crying but he is actually happy. Excited to finally be done with his father. He shoves all of his dad’s stuff in a drawer which opens as he leaves the room. We definitely haven’t heard the last about this. He is going to have some sort of break down as he continues through the steps of grief.

I’m curious how this will continue to play out in next week’s episode “Twenty Two.”

New Girl S6 E2 ‘Hubbedy Bubbedy’

The second episode of season 6 begins with Schmidt opening mail. The mail situation is out of control and Schmidt wants to organize it with Cece’s help. Jess and Cece are going to find people to vote for Hillary. Schmidt ever the Republican is only after the Paul Ryan 2020 election so at least he isn’t a Trump supporter. If Jess and Cece get more votes for Hillary he will vote for her, if not they will vote for Winston. This show is always quite topical if only in small bursts.

Winston ends up helping Schmidt organize and lets slip there is a junk drawer. Schmidt freaks out but ends up finding an admission letter for Cece. Schmidt is always a supporter for his new wife and has been all along. It is so nice to see their love has grown so strong.

Nick takes Winston’s advice and calls his long distance girlfriend even though he is terrible at phone conversation and says he is up for phone sex. Winston shows him his collection of costumes and says that video sex is a lot easier.

Jess and Cece are both trying to work to promote Hillary for president. Jess is trying harder then she should. Jess always tries harder then she should, but it is part of what makes her so endearing.

Schmidt goes to the Hillary den and ends up getting roped in to organize but only because it is his pet peeve. Schmidt is a crazy man, he always ends up going against what he thinks. He is pretty easy to manipulate because he wants the world to be how he wants it.

Jess and Cece go to a sorority and drink to get the young women to get registered to vote. Definitely not the best way to get new voters.

Nick decides he wants to have space video sex. Nick is truly a ridiculous man and he is definitely going to make a fool of himself. It doesn’t even end up being Regan, it is Winston’s girlfriend.

Jess and Cece are sad that the girls didn’t write their real names. Jess gives a rousing speech and the girls acknowledge the name’s they wrote down. In such a crazy political year this is quite poignant. So many young people don’t want to vote even though they definitely should.

Schmidt is tasked with calling people to vote for Hillary and can only say Hubbedy Bubbedy. Always good when they use the title of a show or episode in the show.  Jess and Cece lead a parade of drunk sorority girl’s to the campaign head quarters so they can register.

Winston gives Nick cards that he wrote him to show off his style. Winston and Nick really are best friends and have been for years. It’s good seeing such a real friendship in a show.

The sorority girls are all actually Trump supporters and they are going to vote because of Jess. Cece doesn’t want to go to college, because it just isn’t for her. Jess and Cece lose the bet and thus have to vote for Winston. Jess ends up dressing up as Trump, she really looks hilarious.

Another good episode of this amazing show. With such an insane election coming up it was nice to see behind the curtain in a humorous way. I am excited for next week’s episode ‘Single and Sufficient!’

Gotham S3 E2 Mad City: Burn the Witch

https://skatronixxx.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/e1b65-1474636518932.jpg

After a recap of the Season 3 Premiere things begin.

Bruce wakes up blindfolded in the Court of Owls office. The head of the court talks to him and orders him to give up all his evidence. Bruce wants to take down this organization and wants to make a deal. They make an agreement with the stipulation that he will stop investigating the court or the murder of his parents. He is knocked out and removed from the premises.

Gordon wakes up to a knock at his door and it is one Valerie Vale. She needs Selina Kyle to help take down Fish Mooney. Gordon goes to see Barbara to find out if she knows where Selina is. She will only tell him where Selina is if he kisses her. Her insanity really does make her character shine.

Valerie leaves Gordon in the lurch for not letting her find Peabody.

With Ivy being pushed down into the pipe her transformation has occurred. The young Ivy is now the voluptuous version of herself. She is nonetheless surprised by the change. She meets a man and calls herself Ivy.

Valerie tells Bullock where Fish Mooney is and they head off to take her down. A battle soon ensues between the monsters and the coppers. In the chaos Fish ducks out.

Penguin speaks out about Fish beginning his bid for Mayor. He is going to stop at nothing to destroy the monsters and kill Fish.

Bruce wakes up in the manor, surprised. He wants to keep his word but Alfred warns the Court may not keep their word.

Gordon goes to the GCPD and talks to Lucius Fox.  They found the mummified Ethel Peabody and Gordon is shocked by the sight. Bullock is met by two of Fish’s Monsters and taken to see Fish. Fish kisses him so he will help her find Strange. Their relationship has always been a twisted one. There was once something there, and the tension is often quite palpable.

Ivy is not a fan of the man who rescued him especially when he tosses out a houseplant.

Gordon goes to talk to Commissioner Barnes about Bullock and Barnes is upset that he is even there. Barnes won’t tell him where the lab where Strange is but he will take him there. Bullock leads Fish to the location and tries to get in, the guards are killed by the monsters and Fish easily strolls in finding Strange in a plexiglass cube. BD Wong’s portrayal of Strange really is stellar.

Fish wants Strange to fix her and then create her an army. Strange tells her he can’t fix her, which clearly is true based on his demeanor when she tells him to rethink his answer. These characters all work so well with the terrible character that is Fish. If a cop comes within 20 feet of the building Harvey will die. Such a diabolical woman, Fish woul kill the man she loves. Suddenly, the press led by Valerie Vale charge in and are blocked off by the cops. Penguin is so happy that Fish is cornered and is gathering his friends to take out Fish.

Fish nearly cries begging Strange to fix her, she really is just over the top. Penguin leads his army on an attack on the manor where Strange is being held. Gordon always ready to do whatever it takes sneaks in the back door.He is soon beset upon by the two monsters Fish has with her.

Gordon only wants to save Bullock and nothing else matters. He has a way to get her out of there if she will give him Bullock. Gordon tells Penguin to send his mob in and then he will get Fish. The two monsters die at the hand of the mob as Penguin finds Fish.

Fish didn’t kill Penguin because he is hers. She says the greatest thing she ever did was turn him into the Penguin. Penguin doesn’t kill her because of his emotions. As the mob cheers for Penguin, Gordon sees that Penguin clearly didn’t kill Fish.

Dressed in a sultry green dress Ivy walks out having killed her savior with the potted plant.

Alfred decides Bruce needs to be taught how to dance. The window breaks and in walks Bruce’s clone, begging not to be hurt.

Valerie goes to see Gordon and tells him about the story of Fish’s escape which is bogus. She saw the events unfold, and realizes Fish isn’t dead.Valerie and Jim kiss as Jim’s ex Lee walks off a train. Looks like the drama train has come to the station.

Excited for next week’s episode Mad City: Look Into My Eyes, and the Mad Hatter’s first appearance.

Doctor Who SN1 EP3 – Forest Of Fear – The William Hartnell Years Review

forest-of-fear-doctor-who

Welcome back! We return to the Doctor and his companions in the cave with the holy skulls (hehe) as they look in shock and fear at their possible future.

The show then jumps to the cave-oneons sleeping all huddle ball but the old hag is awake and grabs a rock that looks a bit sharp. Then back to our heroes, tied up, in the dungeon cave trying to figure out a way to get out. (I love how the cavers know how to perform a knot to tie one up, but cant figure out the fire thing).

The old lady sneaks out of the sleeping group, making her way to the group in the cave. Susan screams as she notices the old hag, breaking through the twigs that barricade the entrance of the dungeon. She then exclaims “you know make fire??”

Another of the cave peeps, a woman, wakes Zha and warns him that the old woman has taken his sharp tool and is on her way to kill the heroes. At first he doesn’t believe the chick due to some giant boulder still being in the way, but soon realizes that she was telling the truth as the prisoners escape thanks to old haggidy. There is a quick struggle as Zha fights the old lady, knocking her to the ground (not sure if he killed her, this is questionable acting with not much in the effects department so I am not entirely sure). He then talks to the lady cavy of the need to get the heroes back and get this fire thing on the way.

The Doctor and his band are now in the forest, trying to find their way to the TARDIS, Barbara seems to be a bit hysterical and the Doctor a tad out of breath (kind of not digging how the ladies freak out a bit on the too much side here…) But they venture on through, determined to find their way, and get out of there. The two cave peeps, Zha and the chick, have followed them into the forest. Suddenly Zha is attacked by an animal, there is a lot of freaking out on the female cavepersons part, and he is down. The companions see this attack happen, and decide that they need to help. Ian and Barbara head out first, followed by Susan, even though the Doctor is not exactly behind the decision. They approach the wounded and start to help. The Doctor is pretty frustrated at this point, not trusting the cavers to keep their whereabouts a secret.

Mean while, back in the cave… The old woman lives!! And is found by Khal….. Who is not very nice to her when trying to find information on what happened to the prisoners. He then takes out a sharp rock….

Back to our heroes in the jungle, trying to help the caveman down. They are trying to explain to the young cave chick how they are helping. The Doctor still stands there, worried and unsure of the situation. (There is a quick part where the Doctor walks over to the group and caveman, leans down and picks up a rock. His hand is grabbed by Ian who asks “what are you doing?” The Doctor replies, “ I, I was going to see if he could draw us the way…”

Back at the cave, the peeps there discover that the old lady is dead. They are all angry, with Khal acting all innocent and helping with the uproar of the angry and scared dwellers. They are now going to find Zha and the prisoners…..

Back to our heroes… they have found the TARDIS!!! And it seems Khal has found them….

OK that’s it for this episode…. Riveting isn’t it? I know I’m at the edge of my seat.. Just makes me wonder though…. What was the Doctor going to do with the rock…. They way they had him approach and pick up the rock was almost like he was going to use it on the cave guy… but that’s not the way of the Doctor right? Hmmm IDK…. If you have seen this episode please let me know. Next review… The FIREMAKER  ^_^

Doctor Who SN1 EP2 – The Cave Of Skulls – The William Hartnell Years Review

p0110bkv

The second episode of the William Hartnell years. After landing in some time and place following the confrontation the Doctor had with his companions, we find they have landed in the time of cavemen.

The cavepeople, who speak English amazingly well can I add, are attempting to make fire. The main guy has a bone in his hand and is trying desperately to figure out how to get a fire going so the people can survive. (Curious as to why they can’t make fire, but the speak very well for Neanderthals.) One of the cave men though has found the TARDIS and is looking in awe.

In the TARDIS, they have discovered they have landed, and Ian does not believe they have landed somewhere else. He thinks they are being cray-cray about traveling though time. The Doctor seems perturbed yet pleased that Ian is a disbeliever, and can’t wait to show him. There is a wonderful banter between Ian and the doctor, Ian fully thinking they are still in London in the 60s, and finding it very hard to believe they are anywhere else in time, let alone that time travel is possible. You can see the twinkle in the Doctor’s eyes as he discusses the time travel idea with the young man, and you can tell he thinks this person is a stupid human.

The opening of the TARDIS doors is fantastically retro…. Those big dots on the walls, door opening… omg retro, lovely retro. And this is when Ian makes his way out of the TARDIS and into the time of the cave peeps… and he is in major disbelief. This is also when the Doctor is puzzled as to why the police box has not changed.

*side note, for those of you who do not know,,, and I’m sure most of you do, The police box was not supposed to be noticeable by those who saw it. In fact, according to the Doctor, this was supposed to go into a camouflage and blend in or disguise itself so that it’s not noticed by the other people or things passing by*

Ian is very perplexed. The poor man is unable to cope with the idea that they are somewhere else. Mean while, the Doctor is collecting samples to figure out where they are, when he is abducted!!! Susan is in hysterics when they go to find her grandfather and realize he is no where to be found. Ian and Barbara console her, and Ian discovers that the sand is freezing cold.

We now jump back to the cavemen. They are the ones who have captured the Doctor. They are examining the Doctor in a sense. The caveman who discovered him talks about seeing fire coming from the fingers of the Doctor and smoke coming from his mouth. Khal, the name of this caveman, gloats of his findings. The other caveman dude, the one attempting the fire making with the bone in the earlier part of this show, is now challenged to make fire by the Khal guy, challenged for the leadership of the cave-onians. The Doctor wakes up while hearing the arguing of the Zha and Khal, and tells them he will give them the fire if they chill. But Zha does not believe him and challenges him to make the fire. Khal begs the Doctor to do as seen before and make fire… As this is all going on, we see Ian jump in and attack one of the cavemen, attempting to save the Doctor. The Doctor stops him by threatening ‘no fire’ should the man be injured or killed. The plot thickens when there is a discussion between Zha and an old woman who argue that the four strangers should be killed or they will bring destruction to the cavers. Where Zha reassures the old woman that the strangers will be killed when the bright orb (I’m guessing the sun) appears in the sky again.

We then cut to the four heroes, in a cave/dungeon area, where they notice the skulls on the ground,… and the skulls have holes in their heads…. Dom dom dom…..

This episode of the cavers was pretty amusing to watch for sure. I mean the English language, though somewhat primitive, was pretty good linguistically if you ask me. The only parts that made them seem “stupid” in any form was when they referred to the sun in the sky and talking about fire from the hands… cute really. The next episode to be reviewed is number 3, the Forest of Fear   ^_^

Doctor Who The Lost Episodes, The Crusade: The Knight Of Jaffaa Review

250px-crusades_doctor_who

Ok, so this one was a bit harder for me to keep track of and review… just because it’s all audio and no visual. I am a very hard person to keep still for long periods of time unless I am completely entranced by something, but an audio thing is not the way to do it. I’m afraid I had to listen to this a few times before I knew what was going on. :-/

The episode opens with sounds of the credits then followed by music that lets you know we are still in the kingly era and in some trouble still. The Doctor seems to be talking to his Highness, fluffing his ego of the current situation. He is persuaded to send a messenger to the opposing team. His highness then calls upon Joanna, his sister I guess. They are talking, discussing the jewel she owns, which appears to be new and from the opposing enemy. Plus deciding on who will go talk with the sultan and get one of their men back.

Like I said earlier, this was very hard to follow, I was not sure where or what was going on, but from what I gather, the episode is basically about the king trying to get back one of his favored men, and doing this without it being known that this knight is so sought for. They are trying to do this peacefully it seems, yet I feel like the sultan dude may not be so up for the peaceful treaty. In one part, Ian (one of the Doctor’s companions) has been knighted by the king, which is awesome for him. And they are still trying to get Barbara back,  (who I think may have escaped) which sounds like once the sultan finds out of course he is not happy camper about this, and figures out that the king’s man he has captured may be who helped Barbara escape.

I had to giggle at one of the audio parts, it seems that the Doctor is being accused of steeling from a couple of merchants. The Doctor of course if being very witty, trying to confuse the two accusers of their claims and pretty much makes them look (I mean sound) the fool.

(there was a long part where you hear that something is supposed to be going on but I have no idea what, I think that maybe people are sneaking around, maybe either escaping or breaking in? )

Then the show ends…. And I am left confused as to the last part of what happened. But over all the whole episode was basically about the knight of the king, one party wanting to free him and the other party seems to have lost him. Though the episode seemed well thought of, I wish they would have given the video part so I could better tell of the actions going on here. Regardless I enjoyed trying to imagine what was happening ^_^

Justice League Spoof Released By Artspear Entertainment

maxresdefault

I love it when people do these! Making fun of movies, tv shows, commercials, they are just super fun to watch. And here is one more done in honor of the Justice League movie they premiered at the San Diego ComicCon.

The spoof was created by Artspear Entertainment, and is on YoutTube for your viewing pleasure but as we are nice, I’ve included it below. It has Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and of course Cyborg. The trailer is animated, but looks more like someone traced over the characters and gave them silly looking eyes. There is a very goofy scene where Batman is talking with Cyborg about who he is, and when asked if this is relevant to now, Batman replies with a no and disappears, messing with Cyborg’s head… Completely fantastic and silly.

I have loaded the video below for you all to enjoy as much as I have. As well as you should go check out the trailer for the real Justice League movie if you haven’t already. I can’t wait for this awesome movie! ^_^
