Digimon World: Next Order Is Coming 2017! Let’s Go Back To The Digital World!

Digimon is about as old as Pokemon and still has just a strong a fan base. These monsters and their human companions may not be plastered everywhere but so many people enjoy them.

After the success of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth in the states it has been announced that Bandai Namco is bringing Digimon World:Next Order to the states in 2017.

I did really enjoy Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth even though I haven’t beaten everything because it is quite the game. I do really enjoy Digimon and have ever since I first watched it. Though I haven’t seen every episode of every season what I have watched is still amazing.

This series is really powerful in that most of the time these kids only have a single Digimon. They become their best friend and through love and friendship they are able to Digivolve.

Now this is an RPG similar to Cyber Sleuth. You get to raise and train over 200 different Digimon and figure out the best way for you to fight. I really enjoy monster collecting games as they offer so much customization. You can literally choose whatever monster you want in these types of games. If you like cute, there’s cute and they can honestly be just as strong as the vicious looking ones.

This game takes place in the Digital World, the lush and verdant one unlike Cyber Sleuth which was corrupted. I do think it really looks lovely when it is all so natural and serene. Except of course for Digimon roaming free and doing as they please.

This game really looks like a fun one and I am happy to see it come to the states. Maybe it will inspire young kids to dive into this series. It is always easier for newbies to find the series in their own way and if its games, that works fine!

Again Digimon World:  Next Order comes out next year! If you like Digimon you may just feel that nostalgic tug and want to head into the Digital World for yourself.

Big Bang Theory Season 10 Trailer Released

https://i2.wp.com/www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/bea4e9d433b249fe2fa3b29f092b48f9ec4a7872/c=112-0-1889-1336&r=x408&c=540x405/local/-/media/2016/09/12/USATODAY/USATODAY/636093019454224108-108829-2224b-3-.jpg

The first Big Bang Theory Trailer has been posted and boy howdy does it look like a crazy one. In the brief scene it shows off Penny’s Family Dynamic.

Clearly there is a lot of issues within this Family of Four and a lot of humor to go along with it.  Penny’s father has been seen multiple times throughout the series but this is the first time her mother and brother have been seen.

I can’t wait to see more of this episode and see how these characters end up interacting with the cast. They really do look like they could be a family in some weird way and I think that is the part of Television’s magic. These casting executives really know what they are doing when they can take four people with no genetic connection and you can believe they are family.

Penny is definitely a daddy’s girl as is clear from the past episodes. Her father wanted Leonard to marry Penny since he came clean about their breakup. I am glad that he was able to see this wish fulfilled.

Penny’s mother played by Katey Segal is interestingly enough playing her mother for the second time after 8 Simple Rules. Jack McBrayer is on point as the recently released druggie and Penny’s brother. Clearly different from other roles because usually he plays a goody two shoes type. I am curious to see how he plays this character.

All in all this looks like quite the episode and I can’t wait until September 19th to see how this all unfolds. The pictures of the wedding are really lovely and I am glad that they are actually going to have the wedding shown.

Big Bang Theory starts soon and it might even be the last season, so look forward to my coverage, only on Skatronixxx!

You’re the Worst SN3 EP3 – ‘Bad News, Dude’s Dead’

You're_the_Worst_title_card.png

Following the ending of the second episode of the season Gretchen finds her therapist at a restaurant and asks for her help. She can’t bare to tell Jimmy his Father has died after he sold his book. She tells her that of course she has to tell him even if it may be ugly.

She is about to tell him when he promises a vacation because she is going to be going on a nice journey with him.

Lindsey is freaking out about stabbing Paul because his wound keeps getting reinfected. Lindsey tells her she shouldn’t tell Jimmy about what is going on.

Lindsey and Gretchen go into Edgar’s work and  try to tell him their secret. Edgar is blown away by this thought and sinks down to a bench. He is one of the only ones to wear his heart and feelings on his sleeve. Gretchen then comes up with the idea that they invite everyone over for a big celebration of his book being sold. Of course this is supposed to be a cover and she hopes the guests will all tell Jimmy his dad has died.

Jimmy comes in upset with his publisher and ready to go write his book. Gretchen wants them all to tell him his dad died when he surprises her with a “Pets of Instagram” cruise. As always she throws all caution to the wind and begins to party. Lindsey’s husband Paul gets Champagne in his wound after Gretchen sprays him with it.

Edgar is the only one to not be able to party because he is the only one who seems to be able to feel anything. Jimmy sees all the people in his party and thinks they don’t want him to succeed. Jimmy goes to gather his heckle file to heckle everyone so he can work.

Edgar is convinced to go down and tell him the news. But ends up instilling in him an idea to call his dad and heckle him. Edgar obviously couldn’t bring himself to do it anyway as he really is the most emotional of the group at least on the surface.

Lindsey realizes she does actually love Paul when he sticks up for her, in a beautiful scene. She was trying to “incept” herself into loving him and now its come true. When Edgar comes running up to tell them the news they all leave. Edgar contemplates his life and it is suggested that he get help which he knows.

Gretchen finally tells him when she hears him calling his Dad to heckle him but ends up just saying that he sold a book. When she tells him Jimmy is literally unable to speak. But I mean it is rather expected as he was on top of the world and then it all came crashing down.

Another gripping episode of You’re the Worst. As comedic as it is dark and oh so genuine. Death is something that is often hard to talk about and this show pulled off all the emotions involved sublimely. All these characters are real in their own ways and they all feel. It can be hard to really show emotion sometimes in shows because these types of emotion can be so visceral.

Can’t wait for Episode 4 “Men Get Strong” to see how Jimmy really takes this news.

The Walking Dead Season 7: 2 New Teasers Released

AMC has released a couple of new teaser trailers for the upcoming 7th Season of ‘The Walking Dead’, however before you get too excited, there’s not actually any new footage on show.

The two teasers contain clips already seen in other promos. In fact the teaser entitled ‘Negan’s Way’ was uploaded by international distributors for the show a week ago, at the time of writing. In any case, AMC’s promotion for the season is focused on making Negan the most formidable villain he can be, and that will no doubt pay dividends when the show starts up again in October.

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 premieres Sunday, October 23rd 9pm on AMC in the US, and on Monday, October 24th 9pm on Fox in the UK.

Agents of Shield Season 4: Extended Promo Released

official-poster

After ABC released a short teaser for the upcoming Season 4 premiere of ‘Agents of Shield’ the other day, fans were screaming for more. Months of waiting and anticipation boiled down to a 15 second promo. Surely this couldn’t be all they had for us? As it turns out, no it wasn’t, however I think any hopes of a full season trailer have been dashed by this point. Instead, ABC opted to release a slightly longer promo for the episode.

Whilst it doesn’t show us much new footage, we do get glimpses of a few more of the main cast members. Much of the promotion so far for the premiere has singled out Daisy, Mack, May and Ghost Rider as being the principle players in the episode, however we saw snippets of Coulson, Fitz and Simmons within the extended promo, so you can be sure they’ll be there in some capacity too.

The most exciting part about the promo however was that we got to hear Robbie Reyes speak for the first time, uttering a rather ominous response to Daisy’s statement that he doesn’t get to decide who dies “I’m not the one who decides.”  It seems then that he views Ghost Rider as separate from himself, so it will be interesting to see if he gets any personality changes when he transforms, in addition to the whole skinless flaming body thing.

‘Agents of Shield’ Season 4 premieres Tuesday, September 20th 10pm on ABC.

Supernatural S12 Promo Released

I wasn’t squee’ing.  You were squee’ing.  Yes you were.  Yes. You. Were.

Oh sayer of untruths, your trousers did precede to combust!

If you saw Sammy all tied up and your mind didn’t go straight to the gutter… then you’re a better person than me.  Maybe a little bit of prude too.  Just sayin’.

I think the best line of the promo award goes to (can I get a drum roll please?  Geez, I said please!)…… Rick Springfield as Lucifer.  “You’re either mad ….. or dim.”  The comeback to that of course is:  Maybe a little of both.

And the promo coming out wasn’t even the best news I have for you!

Sheriff Jody Mills (played by fan favorite and Wayward Daughter, Kim Rhodes) is coming back!  That’s right, she’ll be showing up in Episode 6.  Rumor has it that there’s going to be a Hunter’s Wake, and we’ll get to see Sam and Dean interact with other hunters.  I’m going to bet money right now that they aren’t well received.  We all know that most hunters blame The Boys for a whole laundry list of major f**k ups… including, but not limited to:  Opening the Hell Gate, letting Lucifer out of his cage, The Apocalypse, The Darkness almost ending the world, Bobby’s death… and that’s just the Top 5.

I do believe I hear squee’ing in the distance.

A crap-ton of questions will be answered when Season 12 premieres on Thursday, October 13th.  Yes, I said Thursday.  The Crazy Suits at The CW have decided in their unquestioning wisdom (I can’t seem to find the sarcasm font) to move The Show to Thursday nights.  Man, Winchester Thursday just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Mr Sinister To Appear In Wolverine 3

rsz_2808515-x_men_the_end___dreamers___demons__3___page_3-17-new-mutants-we-could-see-in-x-men-apocalypse-17-new-mutants-we-could-see-in-x-men-jpeg-70971

So we have been waiting to see when Mister Sinister would appear in a X-Men related film and thanks to Bryan Singer and CinemaBlend we finally have our answer. Mister Sinister will appear in Hugh Jackman’s last appearance as Wolverine in Wolverine 3 so we finally have some details around a film that has been cloaked in mystery.

rsz_cos-richard-e-grant-image-2-511482743

It’s fair to guess that the role will be played by Richard E. Grant his character has been listed as being a ‘Mad Scientist’.

Singer also went on to mention an original plan for a Deadpool related post credits scene as the director wanted to include a tease toward Deadpool 2.

“We did a tag that we really couldn’t do — which I can stick on the DVD. It would have been for Deadpool, and unfortunately it wouldn’t have had the right costume for the character they’re going to add to Deadpool [2]. I don’t want to give that away.”

Wolverine 3 hits cinemas on March 3rd 2017

The Punisher: Casts Ben Barnes

rsz_2download.jpg

The next Marvel series to get a spin off will be The Punisher and they have just cast English actor Ben Barnes (The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian) as a season regular on the show. The character information is a bit sketchy at the moment but the best rumor I can find is that he will play Bobby Saint the son of crime lord Howard Saint.

Bobby Saint was originally played by James Carpinello back in the first ever Punisher movie (2004) which starred Thomas Jane as The Punisher, in this adaption of The Punisher it was Bobby Saint who took of the whole of Frank Castles family in a massacre at a family BBQ before Frank finally gained vengeance against the Saint family.

There is still no release date for The Punisher series but what we have learnt so far is that the series will also include the character Micro as mentioned in a previous article.

Big Hero 6 Star Proves He Can Be Robin In DCEU With Concept Video

The actor who voiced Hiro in the Disney animated film Big Hero 6 has made a big push to be considered as Robin for the DCEU by posting a concept fight video.

Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6, Supah Ninjas) has been vocal about wanting to be Robin, specifically Tim Drake the 3rd Robin.  He’s been tweeting and mentioning in interviews about wanting to play Tim Drake in the DCEU for some time but now he’s taking it a step further to prove he has what it takes, at least physically, to don a cape and be Batman‘s sidekick. At the end of the video he address Ben Affleck directly using a quote from Tim Drake in the comics that Batman needs a Robin.

In the DCEU the only Robin that has been confirmed to exist is Jason Todd. His damaged and defiled suit is seen in the Batcave in Batman Vs. Superman. Jason Todd was the second Robin in the comics. If the DCEU sticks to the comic storyline like they have done pretty well so far that could mean that Dick Greyson is out there as Nightwing and Tim Drake is next in line to be Robin. Ryan Potter would definitely fit the bill as Tim Drake so here’s hoping that Ben Affleck and DC take notice.
