I know this isn’t really the usual article you’d find on ye old Skatronixxx but here goes. I have a suggestion for all you YouTube viewers out there. Watch Chadtronic.

This guy is definitely capable of going places and I enjoy every video he posts. This guy is smart as a whip and deserves all the praise and admiration he gets.

Clearly he just does what he wants and thus gains viewers. He may kowtow a little here and there but he really does flow his own thoughts.

If you enjoy Nickelodeon and Nintendo I really must say you should watch his videos. He really is someone to watch because he is super hilarious and so witty.

So do yourself a favor and check out one of his videos. If it doesn’t put a smile on your face you must be a robot.

The Amazing World Of Gumball Is Ending…

The Amazing World of Gumball is a show that premiered around the time of Adventure Time and Regular Show. A show of that new era of Cartoonetwork.

I for one love the show and was saddened to hear that it was announced it will be ending.

It has been said by the creator Ben Boculet that the series will end after the 6th season which is thankfully 78 episodes away.

Even though I know I have much more Gumball to watch it saddens me that it going away just like Regular Show. At least we will still have reruns.

Breaking News: Underworld: Blood Wars Trailer Just Released

The war between Vampires and Lycans continues in the latest installment in the Underworld Saga, Underworld: Blood Wars.

The IMDB.com synopsis says: “Vampire death dealer, Selene fights to end the eternal war between the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her.” The trailer shows us that this film will be just as action packed as the first movie.  And it looks as if Selene is transforming.  If you recall, she is some sort of immortal hybrid after she drank the blood of the original immortal Alexander Corvinus in Underworld: Evolution.  Yet there seems to be no evidence of a return of Michael originally portrayed by Scott Speedman or if their daughter Eve is a part the new storyline.  Selene does have a new foe in Tobias Menzies (Outlander, Game of Thrones) who plays Marius, the new leader of the Lycan clans.

Kate Beckinsale returns as Selene along with Theo James (Divergent) as David and Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) as Thomas.    This will be the directorial debut for Anna Foerster who has also directed episodes of Outlander and Criminal Minds.

This will be the fifth movie in the Underworld Saga.  Underworld: Blood Wars is scheduled to release January 6, 2017 in the US

Crow Reboot Set To Start Filming January 2017

The Crow reboot is due to the big screen soon and is rumored to be starring Jason Momoa who is currently filming his part for Justice League as Aquaman the actor will head to the set of The Crow once filming has finished. Corin Hardy is reportedly back in the directors chair despite leaving in early 2016.

The Crow is based of a comic book by James O’Barr so this means that Momoa will go from comic book film to comic book film for some time as he is set to start filming the solo Aquaman film that is due for release in 2018.

Momoa will star as the lead role Eric Draven the lead role in the Brandon Lee adaption and the comic books. O’Barr has told fans that the reboot will definitely happen despite the production companies money issues that seems to have plagued the film since it was announced it would be rebooted.

O’Barr loved the original but stressed the following at a panel

“The new movie is not a remake of the Brandon Lee film. It’s going right back to the book; it’s like a literal page-for-page adaptation of the book.”

“The trains, the horses, the talking bird, all the visual metaphors. The death figures throughout the thing.”

O’Barr also told fans he also has “control of the soundtrack again,” O’Barr will also be working closely with the director on development of the film.

O’Barr also said “It’s going to be good, it’s going to be really good. And it’s going to be closer to Taxi Driver than to John Woo. The violence is supposed to be ugly, you know? I’m very happy with everything,” 

 

First Look: Fans Sneak A Peek At Spielberg’s Ready Player One Set

Fans of Ernest Cline’s video game dystopian novel Ready Player One have been treated to some early set photos from the upcoming movie adaptation. The film, due for release in March 2018, is shooting in the UK under the direction of Steven Spielberg. The story is set in America, 2045, and depicts a world where people are desperate to escape their miserable lives in the wake of an energy crisis that has destroyed society. They do this through virtual reality, and our hero Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan – X-Men: Apocalypse) has a chance to get out of his hellish life by trying to win a competition set by eccentric game genius James Halliday (Mark Rylance – The BFG… or indeed, everything. He’s the new Samuel L Jackson!)

Fans have taken to Twitter to share their pictures of the set dressing, transforming the 2016 streets of Birmingham (this is where I avoid making any jokes about Birmingham being a prime location for a dystopian future) into Cline’s futuristic landscape. Although, you’d be forgiven for being confused about the time period – the novel features a lot of 1980’s pop culture references (Halliday is a fan of the decade of mullets, and a working knowledge of such trivia is required to solve his puzzles). So while you may not expect to see references to Thundercats and Gremlins in 2045, there they are.  I wonder if the good people of Brum will be allowed to keep them….?

Sheridan and Rylance are joined by a fantastic cast, including Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel), T J Miller (Silicon Valley), Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline) and Simon Pegg (Hot Fuzz). The movie is due for release 30th March 2018.

Game of Thrones Casts Angela Lansbury For Season 7

It’s no secret that HBO‘s Game of Thrones is known to cast the most talented individuals —old and young. So it should be no surprise that HBO has casted another great to its ranks, Angela Lansbury, after casting Jim Broadbent.

Lansbury is rumoured to be guest starring in two episodes of the upcoming Season 7, which will premiere next summer. HBO has yet to officially confirm this rumour, but the actress will reportedly be on set for four days.

So who is Angela Lansbury and why is she joining the brilliant cast of Game of Thrones? Lansbury has won an Academy Award, six Golden Globes, a BAFTA, a PCA, a Star on the Walk of Fame and 16 other awards.

At the age of 91 this year, she is an English-Irish-American actress, who has worked in theatre, television and film. Her career has lasted more than seven decades. Her most notable roles include:

JK “Comissioner Gordon” Simmons Has Finished His Work For Justice League

I am so excited to see how JK Simmons portrays the beloved DC Comics character James Gordon. This character is someone who has always been portrayed by amazing actors at least in the last two live action appearance.

Gary Oldman in the Dark Knight Trilogy will be a hard Commissioner to beat in this writer’s humble opinion. His portrayal was just astounding. Ben McKenzie is currently playing a younger Commissioner Gordon and doing a stellar job. He is certainly growing into the Commissioner Gotham needs.

If anyone can uphold the honor of this mantle it is definitely JK Simmons. This man is a talented and wondrous actor. He brings this powerful energy to every role he performs. He is also already in fantastic shape so putting him in a super hero movie is a perfect fit.

He has finished filming for Justice League which is already shaping up to be an amazing film. I am so ready to see the DC Heroes join together like the Avengers. It really has been a long time coming.

JK Simmons being so humble has also praised Zack Snyder for his creation of the Justice League movie. If JK Simmons approves who am I to say anything but I am down to see this film as soon as I am able!

The Justice League comes together on June 14, 2019 and even though that is about three years a way I say bring it on!

Warner Brothers Wouldn’t Let Shia LaBeouf ‘DO IT!!’ In Suicide Squad

Poor, crazy Shia LaBeouf. He’s spent a good couple of years carving out a niche for himself as a wacky, Hollywood character – proclaiming he’s not famous anymore and riding up and down in a lift for hours with Oxford University students – only to lose out on a role in Suicide Squad. Now, before you get too excited about the prospect of Shia in booty shorts and pigtails, he (disappointingly) wasn’t the original choice for Harley Quinn! LaBeouf has stated that he was up for the role of Edwards (played in the final film by Scott Eastwood) – a role that was initially bigger, prior to the casting of Will Smith as Deadshot.

In an interview with Variety, LaBeouf explained that director David Ayre, who had previously worked with him on the 2014 movie Fury, had approached him about the role of Edwards, however Warner Brothers allegedly vetoed the decision. “I don’t think Warner Bros. wanted me,” the quirky star of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull told the magazine. “I went in to meet, and they were like, ‘Nah, you’re crazy. You’re a good actor, but not this one.’ It was a big investment for them.” Considering the kind of antics Jared ‘mad-as-a-barrel-of-badgers’ Leto got up to on the set, what on Earth were they expecting him to do?!?!

The rest is history. Could LaBeouf’s performance have saved the movie from the spanking it got from reviewers and fans? I guess we’ll never know, but to satisfy your curiosity a little, please enjoy what is possibly Shia’s greatest moment on YouTube.

Agents Of SHIELD: Season 4 Premiere Pictures And Info

We are less than two weeks away now until the Season 4 premiere of ‘Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD’ and in lieu of an actual trailer, ABC has begun releasing a steady stream of information. The latest is the official press release and pictures for the episode, which reveal some interesting tidbits of information.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack, and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. Agent May is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz and Simmons have taken a big step forward in their relationship.

In the season premiere episode, “The Ghost,” Ghost Rider is coming, and S.H.I.E.L.D will never be the same.

Guest starring are Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, Mallory Jansen as Aida, Lorenzo James Henrie as Gabe, Briana Venskus as Agent Piper, Max Osinski as Agent Red, Ricardo Walker as Agent Prince.

As well as confirming that Ghost Rider will be appearing in the first episode, the Guest Star list notes some interesting new and returning players. It’s great to know Natalia Cordova Buckley will return as ‘Yo-Yo’ hopefully with an expanded role, whilst some of the Agents listed have appeared before, and hopefully point to the show expanding on existing characters. We also have confirmation that Mallory Jansen as ‘Aida’ will be appearing early on, whilst Lorenzo Henrie (Fear The Walking Dead) is set to appear as Robbie’s brother ‘Gabe’, signalling the family dynamic Marvel is so excited about with this character will be there from the off.

ABC also released several promo images from the episode featuring Ming Na Wen as ‘Agent May’, Henry Simmons as ‘Alphonso Mackenzie’, Gabriel Luna as ‘Robbie Reyes’ and John Hannah returning as ‘Doctor Radcliffe’. This last one is the most interesting as he isn’t listed under the guest stars. Is it possible he’ll be bumped up to series regular this season? Given how brilliant the character is, I certainly hope so.
