Emily Blunt’s Mary Poppins Sequel Brings In The Wonderful Dick Van Dyke And Julie Andrews

Mary Poppins is one of my favorite Disney Movies. While I am a little apprehensive about a sequel I am also quite excited. After learning that Emily Blunt who slayed as the Baker’s Wife in the film adaptation of Into the Woods is playing Mary Poppins, I was just ready for this to happen.

Now, as this is a sequel everyone wondered if Julie Andrews or Dick Van Dyke would have a place in the movie. Of course, these two actors have aged which is why they were replaced but at the same time they just needed to be approached.

Suddenly it was announced that Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke would be making an appearance in the film. Now it may just be a cameo but it is still amazing. Though really Dick Van Dyke could do something incredible because the way that man dances now is just as good maybe even better then when he starred in Mary Poppins.

I do hope they do Poppins justice because the first one is just magnificent. I really do think it will be spectacular. To have the lead actor from Hamilton, Lin Manuel-Miranda, working together with the one and only Emily Blunt will certainly make for a wonderful performance.

Here’s hoping we learn more about this movie soon, as I am dying to know how this will all play out! Can’t wait for Christmas Day of 2018 for this magical nanny to blow back into the Bank’s and our lives.

Prison Break Season 5 Sneak Peak

Fox recently released a Sneak Peek at Season 5 of Prison Break, the video includes interviews from series stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, along with other cast members and producers. Notably, Purcell says “I think this is going to be even better than the original Prison Break.”

The original action drama centred on Michael Scofield, a young man determined to save his convicted brother, Lincoln Burrows, from death row by hatching an elaborate plan to escape from prison. The original producing teams, including series creator Paul T. Sheuring, Neil Moritz, Marty Adelstein and Dawn Olmstead, will return to executive produce the new series with Sheuring serving as showrunner/writer.”

TV’s favourite brothers return on FOX in 2017.

Scream Queens Season 2 Teaser

“Season Two of SCREAM QUEENS graduates from the college campus and into an all-new location, as a terrifyingly funny murder mystery will begin once again. This time, the show will be set in a hospital, where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation.”

The teaser gives us our first look at new cast members John Stamos and Taylor Lautner as Dr Brock Holt and Dr Cassidy Cascade, as they push some creepy patients down the halls of the hospital. We also see the return of Jamie Lee Curtis’ Dean Musch who tells the Chanel’s (Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin) to “Scrub up”.

The horror-comedy returns with Season 2 on Tuesday September 20^th on Fox(US). Other returning cast members include Lea Michelle, Keke Palmer, Niecy Nash and Glenn Powell, alongside newbie James Earl, and recently announced guest stars Colton Haynes (Arrow, Teen Wolf) and Celcily Strong (SNL). It’s sure to be a bloody good season! Literally! 😉

Killjoys SN2 EP6 – ‘I Love Lucy’

In this episode, somebody’s got some ‘splainin to do!

We find D’Avin in OldTown attempting to buy something called Hawk 9 from an old bag man on a scoot who is supplementing his income illegally. He offers D’Av a taste, which Johnny promptly shoots out of his hand. When it lands on the ground it eats it. Acid!! The canny old man has made him for a Killjoy, and scoots off, shouting “Screw you Killjoy!” D’Av shouts after him that he’s just embarrassing himself, and if he doesn’t stop, he will shoot the vehicle. Again, Johnny stops him, while wondering if D’Av even read the warrant. The man is an explosives dealer, and the mechanized shopping cart is full of liquid explosives. But Johnny’s not in any hurry to run after the man, because he’s always got a back up plan. In this case, the shot that knocked the glass of acid out of D’Av’s hand also tranked the old guy. The scoot crashes, the liquid explosives go rolling down the road in its spherical metal receptacle, and the boys have to give chase anyway. Warrant complete.

Telltale Games: Teases Mr.Robot Project

If you’re a fan of Mr.Robot since the first episode like I am, this is very intriguing news. Telltale Games has a history of making games based on hit television shows. Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, CSI, and Law and Order just to name a few. More recently releasing a Batman story, which from the looks of it, is visually appealing. The choices you make in most Telltale games alters your storyline/plot. Usually available for most gaming systems at a cheaper cost than your average game. I for one, love these types of games because it gives the gamer a choice/option to choose their fate or alter their future. Similar to our daily life decisions right?

The next assignment on their agenda, seems to be related to the Emmy nominated program Mr.Robot. This show has never been so relatable and made me think so hard ever before in my life! If you don’t know what Mr.Robot is, feel free to check out my recap of Season 1 here! Recently a tweet by @ecorpmessaging, teased an E Corp app, relevant based on the fact E(vil) Corp, plays a huge role in the drama series Mr.Robot. E Corp is your everyday company trying to market and draw you into their mission statement, convincing you that the world is a better place living it their way. It would be shocking to a lot of people if this was just a coincidence. The objective in the video foreshadows a messaging app of some kind, coming to iOS and Android on August 17th, 2016. (see for yourself) Telltale Games have a gold medal waiting for them, if this creation is anything like what they have made in the past. I really, really, want a game related to Mr. Robot!! Help me out Telltale Games!! Are you a One (1) or a Zero (0)?

American Horror Story Teaser #10 Just Released

American Horror Story has just released Teaser #10 along with photo of blood stained butchers hook and in the foreground is two Butchers hooks one bent into the shape of a question mark and the other bent into a number 6. Season 6 is definitely going to very different to the previous AHS seasons in every aspect and given the teasers I think season 6 will have several different storylines but the question is, will they somehow be intertwined with each other?

‘Who Ya Gonna Call?’ – Ghostbusters Universe To Continue

Whilst a sequel to the 2016 Ghostbusters may seem unlikely due to the widely reported $70m loss, plans for the Ghostbusters universe as a whole are still going ahead Sony have revealed.

A Sony representative recently offered a statement to the movie news magazine The Hollywood Reporter, where he claimed ‘We’re very proud of the bold movie Paul Feig made, which critics and audiences loved. It has enlivened a 30-year-old brand and put it into the modern zeitgeist. As a result, we have many ideas in the works to further exploit the Ghostbusters universe,’.

Ghostbusters cartoon Ecto-Force is set to debut on television in 2018 with an animated feature film following in 2019, although whether Sony have other plans in place is unclear. It’s worth noting that former Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman’s production company Ghost Corps was set up with the intention of finding ways to expand the Ghostbusters universe, so Sony are clearly dedicated towards making it their flagship franchise.

Ghostbusters has currently earned nearly $181 million globally, against some strong competition such as Suicide Squad and The Sexeet Life of Pets/. Paul Feig stated before Ghostbusters’ release that the film would have to make $300m to break even.

Whilst the female Ghostbusters may have failed to bust Harley Quinn and company at the box office, they have at least managed to ressurect a dormant franchise. Let’s hope Sony don’t have a Walter Peck equivalent trying to shut the business down.
