Matt Smith Regenerating As Doctor Who??

It has been hinted by Steven Moffat that Matt Smith could be the first to regenerate as  Doctor Who and returning to his beloved Tardis.He would be the first of the 13th Doctors (yes, I count the War Doctor (played by John Hurt) to regenerate as his former self, which is very  unique and has not been done on the show before.

Matt Smith has been open about his desire to return to the series. Which could be a good thing as Peter Capaldi has been tipped to leave the show after the next series, which would be televised in 2017. My head hurts thinking about the fact if Matt Smith would be the 14th or the 11th Doctor again. Nice discussion to be had by the way. But whoever the 14th Doctor might be (or 11th again) I hope that he or she will do that legacy justice. And that we get to enjoy Doctor Who and his or hers companions for quite some time.

As many of the die-hard fans know Steven Moffat is also leaving Doctor Who at the end of this series after six years. So big changes could be ahead for Doctor Who if all goes as according to plan. Stay tuned for more info as this all unfolds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

San Diego Comic Con 2016 Funko Pop Exclusives! Wave 5

Let’s face it, everyone loves Funko Pops, they are this generations version of the Beanie Babies. They are cute, collectible and there seems to be no end to them. I started collecting them forSkatronixxx Jr but stopped after realising that I’d never be able to collect them all. Would I still continue collecting them? Sure if I had the money, but alas I have temporarily put my Funko Pop collection on hold, it doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy looking at them though!

There are however hardcore Funko fans out there and  the company knows this, that’s why they are aiming to bombard those lucky people who are going to San Diego Comic Con or SDCC with at least nine waves of exclusive figures.

What’s more having the ‘Funko Limited Edition 2016 Comic Con‘ sticker is a prize possesion for any serious collector and a cool trinket for the causal fan.

Three Jason Bourne Movie Clips Released

Universal Pictures has released 3 clips from the upcoming spy action thriller, Jason Bourne, the fifth film in the Bourne series.

Several years after his disappearance at the conclusion of The Bourne Ultimatum, Jason Bourne unexpectedly resurfaces at a time when the world is faced with unprecedented instability. At the same time, a new program has been created to hunt him down while he is still trying to find all the answers to his past and family.

Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role as Jason Bourne. He is joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles will reprise her role in the franchise as Nicky Parsons. The Film is directed by Paul Greengrass,  who directed The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum. Based on characters created by Robert Ludlum, the film is penned by Greengrass and Christopher Rouse. It will arrive in theaters on July 29 2016.

Killjoys SN2 EP2 – ‘Wild,Wild Westerly’

Hi fellow Killjoys fans!

Did I mention in the last episode that I really like the new title sequence?

You are most likely not going to be too happy with me this week. I felt that this episode was not a great one. The usually snappy one-liners sucked – “The dickiest dick who ever dicked”?? That the best you got, Johnny? Line delivery felt forced, one example was when D’Avin held Pree back from entering The Royale. The plot line advanced the story arc only slightly. There were good moments, for instance the soundtrack playing in the background when the trio was trying to save Scarback Alvis from a really bad life choice was amazing. It took me a bit of digging, but I eventually found out the song is called Pillars & Pyre, by Dralms. Haunting, ethereal and wholly appropriate for the scene. It starts at about 1:20.

K, enough about what I thought, let me give you a description of what happened this week in Episode 2 – Wild, Wild Westerly.

Kiersey Clemons Frontrunner For Female Lead In The Flash Movie

According to multiple sources, Kiersey Clemons is the favorite to take on the female lead role in the Flash movie. This would be the second time the actress has worked with Rick Famuyiwa, who was recently announced as the Flash movie director after Seth Grahame-smith departed the project. They previously worked together in the 2015 critically acclaimed comedy-drama Dope. The female lead in The Flash movie is believed to be that of Iris West, a young journalist and a love interest of Barry Allen.

Other actresses being considered for the role are, The Voice UK judge ,singer and actress, Rita Ora( Fifty Shades of Grey) and actress Lucy Boynton (Sing Street).

The Flash directed by Rick Famuyiwa and starring Ezra Miller in the titular role, will land in theaters on March 16 1018.

Game Of Thrones ‘The Mountain’ Returns For Europe’s Strongest Man

So this weekend Games of Thrones star Hafthor Bjornsson AKA ‘The Mountain’ will defend his Europe’s strongest man title which he has won the last 2 years in a row.

As usual The Mountain is looking huge and in good shape for the defence of his title as you can see from videos and images from his Instagram page www.instagram.com/thorbjornsson

Hafthor has been on the podium for the last 4 years at the World’s Strongest Man competition and has won Europe’s Strongest Man the last 2 years in a row.

At 6ft 9in and 420lbs The Mountain lives up to his name like the time he deadlifted 994lbs (450kgs).

Upon checking the results of the competition it appears that Hafthor could only manage joint 2nd place with Sweden’s Johannes Arsjo they both lost out to Swindon born Laurence Shahlaei so has now set his sights on the World’s Strongest Man competition later this year. The weekend also saw a new powerlifting record smashed to pieces by Eddie Hall lifting an amazing 500kg (1102lbs)

‘Once Upon A Time’ Confirmed for SDCC 2016

ABC’s hit series ‘Once Upon a Time’ will return to San Diego Comic Con for its 6^th consecutive year, and the panel will take place on Saturday July 23^rd, Ballroom 20 at 10am. It will be moderated by Yvette Nicole Brown again, and she has expressed her excitement on twitter. The panel will include cast members Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue, Rebecca Mader and Jared Gilmore with Executive Producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.

The panel is sure to be jam-packed with fans, with the shows 6^th season due to air in September. The panel is sure to give away some exclusive details about the new season, EP Adam Horowitz tweeted “Thrilled to have @YNB moderating the #OnceUponATime panel again at San Diego Comic Con! Hope to see ya July 23^rd! Planning some surprises!”

There will also be OUAT signing in the ABC booth, the same day at 11.15am – 12.00pm.
