Internity – If ‘Scrubs’ Met ‘E.R.’ And Went To Comic Con

Wow look at that cast *swoon*

On twitter I get a lot of messages from people asking for shoutouts or for me to promote them. To be honest 99% of the time it’s mainly from 1D and 5SOS fans (Momma Skatronixxx just so you know 1D = One Direction and 5SOS = 5 Seconds Of Summer) or ‘wonnabe’ rappers and it’s not very personal as well, so more often than not I hit the ‘delete’ button before reading past the first sentence! You know you do too, don’t deny it 😉

So you can imagine when I got a message drop in my twitter inbox about someone being interested in being on my site, I was like ‘oh no here we go again’. However this message was different it wasn’t automated, it wasn’t saying stuff like ‘yo man I am dope RT me now’ or ‘please help Harry from 1D fall in love with me’, it just said ‘hi I checked out your website and I’m interested in appearing on your site.’ I was like hmmm ok this person has actually checked out the website, so straight away that was cool. Then I looked at the display picture it was a stethoscope! My interest was gained, was Skatronixxx.Com about to hire it’s own Doctor? Would we be having an agony coloumn or were we going to rival UK television show ‘Embarrasing Bodies’?

I clicked on the profile and read the following, ‘If Scrubs met E.R. and they went to Comic-Con!’, to be honest I was sold on the words Comic Con, throwing Scrubs and E.R. into the mix sweetened the deal. Ok so I’d recieved an email from someone who wanted to be on my website, which wasn’t personalised, that’s cool, they used Scrubs and Comic Con in their bio, and oh yeah it’s a potential tv series! Sign me up! Oh wait a minute they came to me, it’s a deal!

In the bio there was a link igg.me/at/internityTv  I was a little apprehensive at clicking on the link as sometimes a profile can seem legit but when you click on the link you get a nasty surprise. I clicked on the link and this is what greeted me.

OMG it’s Bobby Singer from Supernatural

I watched the video and was like DAMN it’s the guy from Supernatural, I could be working with someone who’s been on Supernatural??? Fanboy moment *faints* as the video progressed, the humour came to light and Joey Adams made a brief cameo. I gotta say it was funny, it made me laugh, it reminded me a lot of the quirkiness of Zach Braff. This video sold me, I was gunna help Joey out as he seemed like a pretty cool person with a cool idea.

Over the the next couple of days, myself and Joey Adams (the brains behind Internity) exchanged emails and I’d agreed to help him out as I’m nice like that, so over the next couple of weeks, you’ll be finding out about Internity the brains behind and the cast involved!

So what is Internity ?

After surviving a messy divorce, Camila Chivari (Marina Sirtis) returned to medical school, at 50, to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. As if being a single, middle-aged, first-year intern with two kids in college wasn’t rough enough, Dr. Chivari learns her new boss, man-child Dr. Nate, (Joey Adams) is only a few years older than her own son. Great!

To the chagrin of the tough as nails Nurse Tracey, (Carla Jimenez) Nate is the newly promoted Chief Intern at Portland Memorial Hospital who’s been taken under the wing of the brilliant, ultra-cool Medical Director, Dr. Owen Sieber (Richard Ruccolo). Nate’s a Comic-Con fanboy who’s obsessed with TV reruns and prone to dream sequences and flashbacks featuring guest star appearances from the cast members/characters of his favorite old shows, films and comic books. Sometimes as themselves, sometimes as other characters, you never know.

In any given episode you might see our cast alongside your favorite actors from shows like 227, Knight Rider, the Brady Bunch, Saved By the Bell, Friends or Alias. And, with Lieutenant Worf himself (Michael Dorn) appearing in and directing the pilot episode, you know we HAD to do a special Star Trek: the Next Generation reunion scene!!

But, not so FAST! Like any good story, just when you think it’s all funny ha-ha and, “Hey, look who they cast in that role,” fan-favorite nostalgia; a mysterious stranger named Andrew (Jim Beaver) shows up, reveals a dark secret, and changes the course of the story bringing gravitas to an otherwise light-hearted comedy.

As if all of this wasn’t complicated enough, the intensely driven Dr. Sara Cohen (Julie McNiven) unwittingly exposes a conflict of interest which might end the career of one of her new colleagues. It gets a little emotional at times, but then again, so does real life!

Who’s involved in the show?

Marina Sirtis – Deanna Troi (Stark Trek)

Carla Jimenez – Rosa (Raising Hope), Carmen Sanchez (Desperate Housewives), Candida (Nacho Libre), Senora Zapata (Puss In Boots)

Richard Ruccolo – Pete Dunville (Two Guys, A Girl And A Pizza Place), Jay Clemens (Rita Rocks) Tom (All Over The Guy)

Michael Dorn – Worf (Star Trek), The Sandman (The Santa Clause), Rick (Ted 2)

Jim Beaver – Bobby Singer (Supernatural), Whitney Ellsworth (Deadwood), Sheriff Shelby Parlow (Justified)

Julie McNiven – Anna Milton (Supernatural), Hildy (Mad Men), Ginn (Stargate Universe)

Joey Adams – Sam (Duress)

Wow so it’s a show that has not only Bobby Singer from ‘Supernatural’ but also Deanna Troi and Worf from ‘Star Trek:The Next Generation’ that’s one impressive cast!

Ok let’s see some more videos
