Phoenix Wright Spirit of Justice Demo Out Today on the Eshop!

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/zH8V9eg-lfA/maxresdefault.jpg

As a long time fan of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney games I am excited for the new game. This series is full of wacky characters and zany antics. The stories are also really well written. Plus, the first game actually took place in 2016 which is hilarious to me.

This 6th game is coming out on September 8th but they are actually being gracious enough to release a demo.  I cannot wait to get my hands on this demo as it actually is a full case, that I heard is actually not in the full game. This is great.

If you haven’t played the series you can jump in anywhere so you can jump in and try it out. It plays out pretty nicely in there are times in court and times out of court where you prepare. When you have the criminal on the ropes they usually change into their true self which is hilarious to watch.

All I know is this one is definitely flipping the script. With two different lands with two different ways of court battle. There is the traditional court in which you play as Apollo Justice. But there is also the land of Kurain where you play as Phoenix and have to mix it up in a totally new way which is what the demo will show.

I am excited because me thinks I saw a court battle between Apollo Justice and Phoenix Wright. But then again I have been excited for this game since I first saw it released in Japan.

Can’t wait till later to play this demo and I hope some of you give this game a chance because the series is a blast!

Steven Universe Soundtrack Attack: Game Review

Steven Universe is known for its music. This music is some of the greatest television music I have ever heard. The lyrics are beautiful and they all build on the story.  A story mind you that centers on a young boy and the women shaped gems.

This game is really something that if you are a fan of the show you should play. Hell, it might even get you into the show. This game starts out easy, but boy howdy does it get intense later on. I enjoyed every moment of this game even though they left out a few of my favorite songs, they had a nice grouping of songs to listen and play to.

I do enjoy rhythm games for a free phone game this one really takes the cake. It all starts out with creating either a Quartz, Pearl, or Ruby. You then get to dress and design this character first with a meager list but soon you get to playing. You amass coins which obviously can be used to deck out our gems in all sorts of ways.

The game is fun, and fast and really worth the play. It is astounding that so recently really phones were just able to play simple games. Now all phones can play games that are so different and interesting it is rather beautiful.

I hope anyone who enjoys the show and hasn’t played the game or anyone that simply enjoys good music and rhythm games tries this game out. It really is something magical!

Warcraft Knightly News Ep 1: Nobunaga

On this weeks show the boys talk to the legendary Nobunaga from WoW Radio and discuss the major news on going back to Karazhan in patch 7.1. As well as a few of the other announcements from Gamescon 2016. If you were to watch just one episode this is the one you wanna watch.

WoW Radio (also known as WCRadio and Warcraft Radio) was an independent group of players that have come together to produce and promote live radio shoutcasts that air throughout the week. The shows were about 80% talk and 20% music, with most of the music being split between preshows and the royalty free music played when there is no show or archive playing on the stream.

As one hosts of Loremaster Nobunaga was one of the first Podcasters to cover the vast and rich lore in Warcraft who broke the ground for most World of Warcraft podcasts and Vlogs today.

Pokemon Go Starting To Show Decline In User Engagement

rsz_1maxresdefault1

The tech world is very fast paced and many software and tech companies fly too close to the sun. Software and hardware can become obsolete, outdated or simply go out of style in a matter of months. A big launch doesn’t always guarantee that a product will have the legs for the long haul and people love to tear down the overnight success stories and now it seems its Niantic‘s AR game Pokemon Go‘s turn.

According to Bloomberg data from several analytic companies shows that downloads and daily active user for Pokemon Go have peaked and are starting to decline. From a high of around 45 million active users in mid July to around 30 million by August 16th has started to sound the alarm that the glory days of Pokemon Go are behind it. This has also started to affect the viability of AR gaming. While virtual reality maintains the top spot in tech trends and interest, augmented reality saw a bump in interest when Pokemon Go launched and then interest fell back to pre Pokemon Go levels shortly after.

If this data really does spell the death knell for Pokemon Go then Niantic should start thinking about updating the game with some new features that would spruce up gameplay and invite new and old users back to the game.

Sony To Reveal 2 New PS4 Models Next Month!

ps4-console

Gaming powerhouse Sony confirmed that it was working on a more powerful PS4 back in June, with the upgraded console (codenamed “Neo”) sporting a faster processor, support for 4K resolution screens, and improved graphics. Despite these improvements, Sony says all future PS4 games will be playable on all console variations, with Sony CEO Andrew House saying the upgraded PS4 was “intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4.” House didn’t mention the existence of a third version of the console at the time, stating only that Sony would be selling “both” original console and upgraded version “through the life cycle.”

Sony will show off a new slimmer version of its current PlayStation 4 console next month. The news comes soon after pictures appeared in an online auction that appeared to show a thinner and smaller PlayStation 4, suggesting that we may already have had our first glimpse at the device in question. The company is set to detail both this slimmer PS4 and the upgraded 4K version of the console at an upcoming event in New York on September 7th, just a month after competitor Microsoft released its own slimmed-down version of its Xbox One.

Are you pumped for one or both of these consoles? Sound off in the comments and let me know!

Has LEGO’s Chamber Of Secrets Been Opened? LEGO Harry Potter Collection Rumoured For PS4

maxresdefault7

A new rumour is doing the rounds today concerning a PS4 collection of the two LEGO Harry Potter games. According to LEGO fan site Brick Fanatics, Brazil’s game ratings board has listed a rating for a currently unannounced LEGO Harry Potter Collection release. It is unclear whether the LEGO Harry Potter Collection would be a PS4 exclusive, although it would seem odd for it not to be released on the Xbox One and Wii U.  Presumably the game would be similar to LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, DS and Wii which boasted every level from LEGO Star Wars: The Videogame and LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy alongside updated High-Definition graphics and new gameplay mechanics.

Whilst both LEGO Harry Potter entries were released on HD consoles, graphics have improved significantly since their release so it is possible that we could see a similar graphical upgrade to the LEGO Star Wars remaster. Some new cut scenes utilising dialogue from the films would be nice and I would also like to see a more expansive hub world, perhaps with the ability to journey to Diagon Alley on the Hogwarts Express.  Imagine being able to walk from the Hogwarts grounds to Hogsmeade or pay the Weasleys a visit at their family home The Burrow?

Also: would it be too much to ask for Traveller’s Tales to include six levels based on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child?

The LEGO Harry Potter Collection may be a few twists of the Time Turner away but the LEGO Dimensions Harry Potter team pack is set to be released 30th September 2016. The pack will include Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort NFC minifigures, alongside mini builds of the Hogwarts Express and the flying Ford Anglia from The Chamber of Secrets. Also confirmed is a Hermione Granger fun pack, although further details and a release date have yet to be announced.

Setting you back $27,000, it’ll be a tough choice as to whether you want to live a comfortable life with; food and clothes or one on the streets with a fancy watch…probably naked.

If you like the sound of the latter, then you can be one of 85 people to get one as that’s all they’re making and this “offer” will only be available during August as part of the World Watch Fair.

I for one don’t think I’ll raise the funds in time, but I have always thought I could do with one less kidney.

Little Nightmares – A Cute And Creepy Indie Game

rsz_1159955blob.png

Some may be familiar with the work Swedish developer Tarsier Studios (formally Team Tarsier) and their work on titles such as LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway Unfolded. For those who haven’t heard of them, this is due to their usual work being on DLC and in support of the main developers. Tarsier was a contributor for the original LittleBigPlanet plus the sequel and were responsible for the LBP ported version on PS Vita, they also worked closely with Media Molecule on Tearaway Unfolded, the PS4 remake of the PS Vita exclusive.

Having worked on such big titles in the background, it’s fantastic to see that they’ve now been given the go-ahead with their own creation: Little Nightmares. The game was announced at this years Gamescom with a ten minute demo and showcased a beautiful 2.5D platformer, set in a creepy Tim Burton-esk world filled with puzzles and tasks.

In the demo below we see our character, a little girl armed with a lighter, working her way through a kitchen trying to avoid the horrors that are lurking inside and trust me these are some creepy horrors:

Little Nightmares will launch digitally for Playstation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One in Spring of 2017.

Never Alone: The Review

hABLWOd

Ah what a game this Never Alone, it might by the best indie game I have played at the moment and I will tell you why, as there is not a lot of game as like it.by Never Alone is a game made by Upper One Games and published by E-Line Media . It’s been released in November 2014 in multiplatforms.

Never Alone is puzzle-platform genre game where you control a little girl named Nuna and her little Arctic fox. Who says platforms means you gotta do a lot of jump around and who says puzzles means you got to use your brain as well (not just your eyes), but it just doesn’t stop at that fortunately to be just an indie game like the rest.

The gameplay is really simple, you go forward, jump, crouch, go backward, throw a weapon (don’t know if it’s actually a weapon) named ‘Bola‘ which is an object to break ice and also to make spirits appears around the environment to help you go forward to your destination. As simple as it sounds, it has been actually more developed than that, as for examples you have to use the Fox for the spirits to go in the direction that you want them to go or even for them to be visible and use them, the Bola is used to mainly break ice as mentioned but others things as well that I would not mention to not spoil the game too much. The puzzles are kinda simple some of them but fun to do with no pressure around but they are really present all along the game which makes it even more enjoyable.

Graphicaly, the game is beautiful as it use the game engine ‘Unity‘. It’s a pretty mix of cartoon and pure 3D as well which give a colorful environment even if you play most of the time in snow and caves, but even so it’s a pleasure for the eyes and mind too.

Story wise, they use folkloric tales from Alaska indigenous about restoring balance in ‘eternal blizzard‘ by going to it’s source. It contains 8 chapters in total which each of them can be finish in maximum 20 minutes (and I’m nice) each. I won’t talk too much about it as it will kinda spoil the game as well.

Overall the game is an absolute delight to play, less than £10 or 10$ on the PSN or XboxLive, Never Alone ( Kisima Inŋitchuŋa) is one of the must buy indie game to experience as you play and learn as well about how they live and traditions from Alaska, as during the game you can collect videos of interviews from people who live and grew up there but also helped to develop the game. If you want an adventure of around 4 or 5 hours of pure beauty and poesie, this game is definitely for you.
