AMERICAN HORROR STORY AIR DATE ANOUNCED!!
A brand new horror story is coming in just over two months, FX on Tuesday announced the September premiere dates for the sixth season of the new installment of American Horror Story will begin haunting TV screens on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET. Though much is still unknown about the upcoming season of American Horror Story, but Im sure it will not disappoint!
Just recently on 28th June 2016, the American Horror Story franchise changed their Facebook photo to a 6 that also doubles as a question mark, it has definitely caused quite a stir among the fan of the show who are throwing around several different theories of what the symbol could mean, most have settled on a demonic theme around 666 and the Antichrist. Murphy has been tight-lipped on offering any details of what season 6 will entail, but this is what we know thus far…
- Season 6 is bound to be a little different given that, the creators have been working on 2 separate ideas at once and still yet to decide which idea they will run with.
- Both of their ideas for AHS 6 most like will contain some element of children
This season they are trying a new format that has never been done with the show before co-creator Ryan Murphy hinted, “Both things that we’re writing right now – we haven’t declared the winner – will have a different form than we’ve ever done, so we’re excited about that. We will talk about it soon, but we haven’t landed on it.” He’s not giving much up at all!!
- Angela Bassett gave a few interesting details of her new character during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, “I would imbibe a little too much, yet I was very intuitive also, and maybe Sarah (Paulson) was somehow the boss of me.”
- More season connections and character collisions could be on the card with season 6, Murphy revealed that it could happen more and more. He said, “the deeper that we go into the series – hopefully we’ll last decades and decades – you will see that there’s a definite universe and all the world are collided, sometime in a very bizarre, interesting way. You will be seeing more and more of that as we go along.” Murphy also stated that, “The next thing we’re crafting up is very very different that Hotel, not smaller, but just not opulent. More rogue and more dark.”
So who will we see return for season 6? Well I can tell you that Katy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Chloe Sevigny, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Leslie Jordan, Denis O’Hare and Finn Wittrock.
However Jessica lang will not be returning this season nor for future seasons, here is what Jessica had to say “No, I had four years with that, four seasons, and each year was a marvelous character, everything changed from one year to another which was made it very interesting to me. But no, I think sometimes you come to the end of something…”
Every AHS I have absolutely loved, I’m definitely looking forward to what season 6 brings with it and where it is going to take us…
