Music News – Britney Spears Releases New Single ‘Clumsy’

wp-1470956736562.jpg

Britney Spears has released a new single from the forthcoming album Glory, ‘Clumsy‘ sees Spears return to her classic pop roots and it’s definitely got her fans excited that a come back is set to happen… Britney’s Back Bitches!

The single follows on from Spears hip hop single ‘Make Me‘ with G-Easy and Private Show, however Spears has kept to her roots with a classic pop vibe with a hint of nostalgia and a sprinkle of grown-up. ‘Clumsy‘ has a great beat with a kick ass bass and I recommend you listen to it LOUD with the bass turned up.

Shazam-Based Musical Game Show Coming to Fox

wp-1470788206142.jpg

Mark Burnett – Astrid Stawiarz/Getty Images

With the end of American Idol, Fox is adding a new interactive musical game show based on Shazam app from Mark Burnett, Fox Television Group chairman and CEO Dana Walden announced Monday at the TCA (Television Critics Association) summer press tour.

Beat Shazam centers around individuals competing to identify a particular song, similar to the way the Shazam app helps users find out the title and artist behind a track. Contestants that are successful will then have to go up against the app for the top prize. Burnett and Jeff Apploff (Don’t Forget the Lyrics) will be executive producers, and Shazam Entertainment Limited will be a partner on the series, so far no premiere date has been announced.

Shazam was founded in 1999 and since then there have been more than 25 billion Shazam queries, and the app currently has hundreds of millions of monthly active users from all over the globe.

Adam Lambert / Photo: Billboard

Fox is remaking the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show and is giving the fans another taste of the up coming remake, however we won’t be seeing Meatloaf in this remake but we will be finally getting a look at Adam Lambert in action as “Eddie.”

In the clip, we see Brad (Ryan McCartan) serenades Janet (Victoria Justice) before proposing in “Dammit, Janet!” The scene then segues to Annaleigh Ashford rips it up as Columbia for “The Time Warp” and Reeve Carney as the hot looking Riff Raff, before sliding into Laverne Cox’s showstopper, “Sweet Transvestite” as Frank-N-Furter.

The American Idol alum Lambert, bursts into the scene like a bat out of hell on a silver black phantom bike and declares his love for rock ‘n’ roll in “Hot Patootie-Bless My Soul.” Directed by Kenny Ortega, Rocky Horror airs October, 20 on Fox.
