Game of Thrones – SN7 Spoilers

I’m warning you right now, if you don’t want to spoil Season 7‘s surprises, turn back now. Close this tab, because otherwise you’re in for a treat. It will come as no surprise that filming has been in the works since August 2016, for Season 7 of course. Now, three months in, photos have leaked of what was an inevitable scene, between two prized Targaryens. The real stars of HBO’s Game of Thrones. Hint enough for you?

The Queen of fire and the King of ice will meet. Yes. We’re talking about the meeting of the Commander of the Night’s Watch and the Mother of Dragons, Jon and Danny. It’s not just a theory anymore. It’s stone. In the following picture you can see Jon Snow offer his hand to Tyrion Lannister in the hopes of an alliance between the Night’s Watch and House Targaryen. Also present are men of the Night’s Watch, Ser Davos, Daenerys’ blood riders, Missendai and men from Sunspear (House Martell).

Here’s  the video of the two Targaryens meeting…

Danny and Jon meeting will be just one of many “happy” meetings. Arya reunited with Sansa, Bran and Jon at Winterfell perhaps? Jorah Mormont finding Dany, after being cured? Jaime, Bronn and Tyrion reunited? With only thirteen episodes left in the franchise, it’s sure to be as intense as ever.

Are you excited for Season? I really hope George R.R. Martin publishes the next book before then. I feel like Sansa may end up ruling King’s Landing, with Arya ruling the North. Possibly Jon and Danny both dying, because let’s face it —George loves to kill off our favourite characters. What’re your thoughts on the upcoming season? Comment below or tweet me @SohoDoll. And as always, “The North Remembers.”

Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events

‘At times the world may seem an unfriendly and sinister place, but believe that there is much more good in it than bad. All you have to do is look hard enough. and what might seem to be a series of unfortunate events may in fact be the first steps of a journey.’ Many of you who have read Lemony Snicket‘s novels, titled A Series of Unfortunate Eventsor those of you who have watched the movie, which was released in 2004, will be surprised to learn another remake has been made.

Back in November of 2014, Netflix announced its plans to adapt the A Series of Unfortunate Events novels into a new, original TV series. Daniel Handler (that’s the author’s real name) is serving as executive producer for the show. All eight episodes of the show will be released worldwide on Netflix on January 13, 2016 — that’s just three months away!

Who can you expect to star in this peculiar tale?

Are you excited for another spectacular Netflix series? After watching Stranger Things I have high expectations for all that Netflix has to offer. Are you sad it’s only eight episodes? Excited to see another adaptation? I’d love to know! Comment below or tweet me @SohoDoll. And as always, ‘Reading is one form of escape. Running for your life is another.’ -Lemony Snicket

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

The last and final movie —the ending to the zombie apocalypse that was caused by the Umbrella Corporation’s bioweapon: the T-Virus. We met Alice in 2002 with Resident Evil, then again with Apocalypse (2004), Extinction (2007), Afterlife (2010) and Retribution (2012).

On January 27, 2017, we have Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Alice will return to Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces, to have one final battle. And this time, she doesn’t plan on doing it alone. In this final movie, we’ll see some old faces as well as some new ones…

Casting:

  • Milla Jovovich as Alice
  • Ruby Rose as Abigail
  • Ali Larter as Claire Redfield
  • Iain Glen as Dr. Alexander Isaacs
  • Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker
  • Rola as Cobalt
  • William Levy as Christian
  • Eoin Macken as Doc
  • Fraser James as Michael
  • Lee Joon-gi as Commander Lee
  • Ever Gabo Anderson as Red Queen

Here’s the trailer, enjoy!

Are you excited for the final movie? Honestly, Resident Evil has been one of my personal favourite franchises of all time. Despite its negative reviews, the Resident Evil film series is actually the highest-grossing film series to be based on video games of all time! I for one, cannot wait to watch it and see the Umbrella Corporation get it’s arse kicked. What are your thoughts? Share, comment and like below, or tweet me @SohoDoll.
