Resident Evil 7 recorder

Hello horror game fans! You all probably already know that the newest Resident Evil is on it’s way to do it’s best to make us shiver with fear. As I’ve written about this earlier, I’ll just say that the game’s makers have promised us that the game series would take a few  steps back into the good old times when the Resident Evil games were actually about scary survival horror and not about shooting around. So here’s a little fun update on the upcoming horror experience, enjoy!

So even though Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is supposedly using similar ambiance to the older games, the saving device is out with the old and in with the new. I personally think this recorder is a splendid idea. A bit newer but still quite eerie. Also the game is reportedly using auto-saves like all the games of this era, it remains to be seen if it affects the ambiance or not. Well I certainly I hope it won’t. Anyway, the game is coming on 24th of January next year!

Capcom Monster Hunter To Hit The Big Screen

So I have yet to play this game myself, and seriously want to. After purchasing this for my brother a few Christmases ago, I have been wanting to get my hands on it for myself but been too busy to do so. L But I may have the push I need to get my bum in gear after seeing the movie. ^_^

That’s right, it seems they will be doing another video game to movie thing again. As they have in the past with movies like, Final Fantasy, Super Mario Brothers, the new Assassins Creed, Dead or Alive, Street Fighter (two movies here), Mortal Kombat, and others. Not sure if you could count Pixels here but it does have all the old school games from my generation…. O.o

Anywho, as mentioned above they are doing this again, but with the ‘bigger in Japan’ game of monster hunter. This was announced by producer Ryoso Tsujimoto during the Capcom’s Tokyo game show. The movie will be a live action (as it should be) though there are some speculation that it may not work for live action. Yet the producer said that the movie won’t be from the stories but its own mold of the game instead.

Well which ever way they go with this, I am sure this movie will be awesome to see. I mean I personally love movies with monsters, and the bigger the better. Which from what I gather of the game, you encounter a lot of different monsters and get to use fun weapons at that. It will be neat to see what they come up with for our viewing pleasure. ^_^

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Capcom announced a whole new Resident Evil experience at E3 yesterday. I just watched the trailer and the game looks simply amazing. The graphics look great and the ambiance is beyond creepy, which is to be expected from one of the most famous horror game series ever. The developers are saying that Resident Evil 7 should be more horrifying than ever, here’s a statement from the Capcom blog:”No Resident Evil you’ve ever survived could prepare you for this”. What’s more the game will be fully compatible with Playstation VR, I can only imagine how much more scary the game will be with the VR.

Here are some clips from the Capcom blog I thought you might be interested in:”While Resident Evil 7 draws from the series’ roots of atmospheric survival horror, it also delivers a whole new level of terror. In the classic Resident Evil games of yesteryear, players braced for fear in the first-person via the creepy door-opening scenes, and Resident Evil 7 ramps up that tension with an immersive first-person view and a photorealistic graphical style[…]Of course, a horror story is only as frightening as its setting, and Resident Evil 7 pays tribute to the franchise’s origins on this front as well. Resident Evil 7 is set after the events of Resident Evil 6, taking place in modern day and revolving around a foreboding, derelict plantation mansion in rural America. Players must explore and survive the horrors within the mysterious, sprawling estate”.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will be published on January 24th next year but the demo of the game is already playable for Playstation+ members! The game is coming for Playstation4, XboxOne and PC.

This year Resident Evil series celebrates it’s 20th anniversary. For Resident Evil fans(like myself) exciting times are coming! Not only has Capcom announced the new game at E3, but a remake of Resident Evil 2 is coming too! I myself am a long time horror fan and so I’m especially interested in these two upcoming games. But wait, there’s more! Umbrella Corps is coming this month for multiplayer/horror enthusiasts and Resident Evil 4,5 and 6 will be re-released this year for Playstation4 and XboxOne. So we can expect lots of quality horror gaming in the coming months.

New Mega Man TV Show Coming in 2017

Dentsu Entertainment USA and Man of Action Entertainment’s project, the new  Mega Man animation series, has been announced earlier already  but now it’s closer to popping up on our screens! As the Capcom’s beloved icon from as far back as 1987 is turning 30 the show is going to be aired next year as a part of the Mega Man’s 30th anniversary celebration. The TV show is supposed to be based more on the old 90’s cartoon than on any variations of the Mega Man games. The series will be aimed for 6-9 year olds(and fans of every age!) And it’s concentrating on Mega Man’s alter-ego Aki Light who goes to school like a normal kid and transforms into his familiar blue suit of armor on a regular basis. Other characters from the Mega Man franchise will be seen in the show too.

Dentsu Entertainment CEO Yuichi Kinoshit has said that: “We are very excited about the opportunity to introduce an all-new Mega Man to loyal fans and kids”. Also Duncan Rouleau of Man of Action has been reported saying that the company is looking forward to creating “something new that still respects the long tradition of the character”. The show will be aired in japanese and in english so that the fans from different parts of the globe can enjoy watching it. We are expecting 26 new episodes of Mega Man that are made with passion, we hope it’ll live up to the hype!
