First Look At Tessa Thompson On Thor: Ragnarok

Last week, Thor:Ragnarok director Taika Waititi shared a video from the last day of principal photography.  Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie made an appearance. Though they were not in costume, but Thompson still had her make up on.

 These photos emerged days before the video of Thompson in full Valkyrie attire.

I have to say, she looks pretty bad ass.  Of course in the comics, Valkyrie is drawn as a blonde white woman, true to Norse mythology. There was a little backlash when Thompson was cast, but I’m pretty sure she is going to kill it!

Thor: Ragnrok stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin and Idris Elba as Heimdall, with an appearance by Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk.  The added cast includes Thompson, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Karl Urban as Skurge, and Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster.

Thor: Ragnarok Set Photos Reveal New Details About Odin And Possible Doctor Strange Cameo

Filming for Thor: Ragnarok has been underway for weeks now.  And the latest report is that Odin will return.  Photographer Glenn Hunt posted this photo on his Instagram, from the Thor set, that shows Anthony Hopkins looking quite…goofy…

This photo confirms the return of Odin to the Marvel Universe.  If you recall, Marvel fans, Thor: Dark World ended with Loki assuming the throne of Asgard and Odin’s identity.  Fans were not shown what actually happened to the real Odin.  Rumors from the Thor set suggested that Loki actually banished Odin to Earth.  And now we see that he has not fared well on our planet.  More rumors suggest that Odin appears as a homeless man, ranting about the end of the world in Thor:Ragnarok; but who’s world?? Earth or Asgard?

Chris Hemsworth also posted some behind the scenes photos with Tom Hiddleston.  The interesting thing about this photo is that they are sitting in front of a NYC newsstand, and the headlines caught the eye of some fans.

And this photo surfaced on Monday of Thor holding a card with an address written on it. It’s hard to tell, but it looks a lot like 177A Bleecker St. This is the address of Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum.  Could we possibly see Benedict Cumberbatch make an appearance??
